THE UMP LATE MODELS WILL RUN THIS SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 28TH 2003 AT THE AUTO TIRE AND PARTS NAPA RACEPARK AS PART OF THE 2003 MOTORSPORT FALL CLASSIC. PIT GATES WILL OPEN AT 11:00 A.M.; BOOK CLOSE AT 1:30 P.M. AND RACING STARTS AT 2:00 P.M. THIS IS A UMP SANCTIONED RACE FOR THE MODIFIEDS AND LATE MODELS. UMP Late Models & Modifieds at ATPR

Total Purse for UMP Modifieds is: $2,925.00 with $1,000.00 to the winner, and $50.00 to start. The Late Models total purse is: $4,650.00 with a $1,000.00 going to the winner and $100.00 to start.
 
I wish they would have waited one more week for this show. Since Brownstown rescheduled their $5k show for that same day, I'm wondering how many late models will show at Benton. If they would wait until October 5th (the last day for UMP points), I would say they would have a pretty good car count. There's no where else running on that day day - that I know of.
