USCS “Fall Brawl” 2012 on Friday and Saturday, October 19[SUP]th[/SUP] and 20[SUP]th[/SUP] is a real racer and fan smorgasbord of speed
Atlanta, GA – October 15, 2012 – The United Speed Contest Sanction (USCS) invades Magnolia Motor Speedway with a USCS winged Outlaw sprint car, USCS Modified and USCS 600 Sprint Car Series triple-header on Friday and Saturday, October 19[SUP]th[/SUP] and 20[SUP]th[/SUP] for the “USCS Fall Brawl 2012”. The is a literal “Smorgasbord of Speed” featuring two full nights of high speed action at one of the Mid-South’s most popular venues. Race teams and race fans will be treated to a full menu of late season speed contests with racing in seven of the area’s most popular divisions.
The event includes the second 2012 season appearance of the USCS “Outlaw Thunder” Tour presented by Goodyear winged sprint cars at Magnolia Motor Speedway. The weekend’s racing action features over 300 laps of racing around the 3/8 mile clay oval including 200+ laps of Championship main events.

Action kicks off on Friday night with a full racing program in two USCS divisions including the mighty K&N Filters USCS Modified and the 100+ mile per hour www.RockAuto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints. An open practice session on Friday night for the other five “Fall Brawl 2012” divisions including the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint cars, Super Late Models, Nesmith Dirt Late Models, Street Stock and Mini Stock divisions will provide at least three opportunities for each to test the track surface prior to Saturday night’s racing program.

The USCS Fall Brawl at “the MAG” then turns up the tempo on Saturday night with the addition of the 700+ horsepower, 1300 pound Outlaw style sprint cars of the United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear and the popular and powerful ground-pounding Super Late Models. Those two headliner divisions join the other five divisions for an action packed night of high speed family entertainment.

The world’s most powerful short track cars (winged sprint cars) are expected to reach speeds exceeding 130 M.P.H. around the “MAG”. Top winged sprint car drivers from at least 6 states are already pre-entered for only the fourth ever appearance of the USCS sprint cars to Magnolia Motor Speedway.

The event gives the K&N Filters USCS Modified division racers their next to last chance of the season to score Championship points on Friday night and then, try to improve their position in the standings on Saturday night in the $1000 to win K&N Filters USCS Modified Touring Series Championship event.

The www.RockAuto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series drivers have the same opportunity as the open wheel modified racers on both nights as well in the chase for the second year title in the series brief history. The USCS 600 Sorint Car Series started competition in 2011. Local favorite and hometown hero Bobby Zaiontz from Columbus, Mississippi was the USCS 600 Sprint Car Series National Champion in the inaugural season. Zaiontz leads the National point standings this season as well going into the last two weekend’s of competition. He is still in a battle for the Mid South regional series title with 2011 USCS 600 Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year, Sean Hosey from Clarksville, Tennessee who leads those regional standings.

The event at Magnolia Motor Speedway event will also provide the last chance for the racers in the Super Late Model, Nesmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Models, Street Stock and Mini Stock divisions to tune up for the “:Cotton Pickin’ 100” event on the following weekend at the MAG.

Tickets to this weekend’s event at Magnolia Motor Speedway are priced as follows: Friday night’s Adult grandstand admission is only $5 with children 11 years old and younger admitted FREE. Tickets to Saturday night’s USCS Fall Brawl 2012 finals featuring seven racing divisions are $20 for Adult grandstand admission with children 11 years old and younger admitted FREE.
