USRA Has The 2016 B-Mod Rules Posted

Wow this guy has issues. Mr faustfan2 (I'm a fan of both fausts as well) like someone said this is a forum for drivers and crews to discuss this sort of thing. Are you a driver or crewman?
Hard Lefts..... Fact 1. Yes I own a car. Fact 2. Yes it's taking me a little longer than your usual person to get a car together due to me being gone from home with my job. Fact 3. After going back and forth several times with CG4528 (Chuck Goodman) we finally landed on a crate motor subject. He told me that the guys who are running the crate motors in the b-mods have to run a carb (pn-800805411 Speedway motors) and a serpentine belt system from Joes to win with a crate motor. "Hey dumb ass you're talking about being competitive with a crate.....you can't unless you buy those things for it". CG4518 words not mine. According to U.M.P Rules... 1 four barrel 650 cfm Holley unaltered carb pn-4777 or 80777 or Holley HP 80541-1,(-2) will be allowed on crate motors. Now correct me if I am wrong but the carb he is talking about is a 800 cfm carb from Willeys! If that's the case they are running a illegal carb! All the numbers I listed are from Speedway Motors since that's the supplier he sent me!! The actual carb that is allowed is Speedway pn- 42580541 650 cfm!! What it comes down to is he said the reason Eilers and Worley won championships this year was because they ran the Willeys carb and the serpentine belt system!! Hhhhmmmm ok......but call me dumb or a idiot if you want to but if you truly believe that the only reason they was so dominant was because of those two things as he stated... then I truly see why they was so dominant!! If that's the level of competition that those two have to beat then no wonder they did what they did!! Maybe he should work on maybe something like setup.....Surely a good setup didn't win those two championships??? Nah that couldn't be it...it has to be the illegal carb and the serpentine belt system!!! Yea that's what won them the championships!!! If your to stupid to even understand the rules and then want to get on here and call someone else stupid and send four pages of pm's to someone showing your true intelligence and try to convince that person that that's the only reason they won championships.... then buddy I really feel sorry for you!! Now also keep in mind that he is friends with the same person who was told by someone that to get more power out of your motor that he needed to tighten the rockers down even tighter!! Finally after destroying two cam's and with the help of Brian Worley and Chad Mullins they finally figured out why the cam's was going flat!! This is the kind of intelligence we are dealing with here!! Do you see my point here??? I'm seriously done with this!! I have tryed to prove my point to him several times and he just don't get it..but yet wants to get on here and cry about something he obviously doesn't know a damn thing about!! Have a good day Hard Lefts!!

Just add to Jason ran a used carb we traded for and had JDR go through and his belt and pulley system is off his street stock, he traded his street stock roller for an 04 grt roller then traded his street stock engine to someone who wanted it for a new from Weir Chevrolet crate, he bought headers radiator and coupler new, cheap racing, that's what this class is supposed to be about, forget the fact he has won championships every year he raced full time, driving has nothing to do with it lol!!!!

My point was that you cant just buy a 3500 dollar crate engine and suddenly be competetive. theres a few expensive bolt ons it takes to achieve that level. and i defended a fellow racer(who has won a track championship locally) that you said was an idiot. never mentioned worley one time. You went on to tell me how good dauderman did against supers with his crate but when i told you that the 604 he ran was different than the 602 were mandated to run you didnt have a response, and id bet he had the jones serpentine belt system too. like i said..field a car for a season then come tell me how to be more competetive.

like i said i didnt mention jason one time NoT ONCE. the two we discussed were eilers and dauderman..and that was him bringing them up to me telling me anyone who doesnt run a crate is an "'idiot''. because those two win with crates.

and no offense to you brian but it sounds like some of you are wanting to make the bmod class so cheap it's more similiar to street stock than a mod. i thought street stock was the entry level class and bmod should be a stepping stone to mods. (At least that's what I was planning to use it for)..with sportsman maybe in between. at this point the sportsman are now going to be faster than bmods. In my OPINION the bmods should be just a couple clicks off of the a mods to make for a smoother transition, not the night and day difference the cars are going to be after we cheap them up for everybody. i know this is just an opinion but i think alot share it.

Talent usually beats money is all I'm getting at Chuck but if a guy wants to spend a small fortune to suck because he thinks that's what it takes to win is $$$ then that's his choice but send them my way I do build cars lol

Josh Russell won several features with a crate (and a Brian Worley bmod). No serpentine. No 800 cfm carb. He also ran my street stock/sportsman pulley setup.

The car is for sale as a roller or with the exact motor setup above. But some people are too dumb to buy it because they know if they can't win they will be exposed as a driver.

Exactly. The reason I screwed up a couolw feature wins with the crate/sportsman. Haha.
Dave are you saying that you won in a sportsman with a crate motor? Nah say it isn't so!! I was told you wouldn't go buy a crate motor to run! But yes we all know Allied gave you that motor to run for them as a test deal for them. My point here is that people spending countless amounts of money on a motor for a class that is supposed to affordable is what is letting the b-mods get out of hand! Then when U.M.P changes the rules every year just like they said they was going to do people get on here and cry about it! Trust me I'm not a fan of the crate motor either but damn if I can buy a crate for $3600 compared to $6000 and still win races in a car with a crate then why wouldn't I spend the other $2400 elsewhere in the car to make it a better performing car? You can have all the horse power you want but if you can't get it to the ground and make it stick then what good is all that power? Don't believe it watch the crate motors compared to the open motors....when the open motors are coming out of the corner spinning the crate motors are.grabbing and they are waiving as they drive by!

I don't know who told you I wouldn't buy a crate but your info is wrong. I had the opportunity to run one so I did. It's a good motor for what it is and for the sportsman and bmod class. I also think guys should be able to build their own if they choose.
I didnt make the comment about you saying you wouldn't buy a crate motor...another individual on here who claims to be friends with you said to go ask you if you would buy a crate and your answer would be no! Guess that just proves another story wrong!!
