One of the major problems with ump is the tech the lack of. In the mods its mainly the body rules. Roof height, rake, deck height and body width. Put the tape to em. would like to think UMP can afford one.no tri city has always had high car counts under revins reigns I 55 has been pretty stable and so has highland
really i get around plus I see the results from other tracks in all sanctions , really if the area is doing ok for car count why the changeYou need to get out of the stl area alittle then you mite understand what is going on not many tracks get a car count at weekly shows
how many tracks does usra own or a big part offHope USRA gets in this area. Up to the drivers to make the push. All in or fold. Driggars and UMP all about lining their pockets. Remember when UMP had the racer in mind? Before the jack-offs at World Group brought it!
There is no such thing as saving the racers money. If you restrict it in one place, we will spend it somewhere else. The guy who has the money wins. That's just racing.
I don't buy that. One tire---hard. Mandated affordable shocks with sanction claim. When you claim them you test them. Control engine costs. Lots of ways to do this and many other sanctions have but it requires teching. UMP ruined the crate class because of no tech. This is just a start.
IMCA & USRA have the same type of programs with manufacturers.I have never complained about the cost. If I want to run a cheaper class, I would drop to B mod. So far with ump, if they mandate a certain type of something, we have to give them money for there sticker. That's where my problem with ump is.
IMCA & USRA have the same type of programs with manufacturers.
Ask Kenny Wallace who was DQ'd from an IMCA win a couple of years ago because the IMCA sticker had fallen off his wheel.
Would you, please quit making sense. Some can't handle it. Like f40I don't buy that. One tire---hard. Mandated affordable shocks with sanction claim. When you claim them you test them. There you go again making sense this has to stop. You guys aren't happy with the cost of racing and then bitch about cost saving changes? Wow! Any change could be worked in over several years with added weight provisions. Don't want to run standard shocks the first year then add X amount of weight. Increase the weight each year until everyone is on the program. Shocks don't last forever and you have to replace them anyway.
The direction you're going now ain't working and is going to continue to cause a decrease in car counts over time.
