BURNSIDE, KY (April 20, 2008)—Victor Lee of Stanford, KY led all 25 laps in route to his second Super Late Model win of the season at the Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, KY on Sunday Afternoon April 20, 2008.

The win was worth $1,000 while driving the Jay Dickens Racing Engines/CJ Rayburn Race Cars, Frank Revel Motorsports owned # 4 sponsored by Kentucky’s Best, PPM Racing Products, Budda Bert Transmissions, Bilstein Shocks, CT Marketing, American Racer Tires, Hypercoils, Dyer’s Top Rods, Tim Logan Racing Supply, and Ado’s Auto Parts.

The 2007 O’Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series Champion also backed up his Super Late Model win with an Open Wheel Modified Feature event win during the track-sanctioned events.

Pole-sitter Victor Lee and Justin Shaw brought the field to the green flag with Lee jumping to an early lead on the high groove.

The first of two cautions came on the fourth lap as veteran car builder/racer CJ Rayburn got caught up behind fellow Hoosier Rohn Moon spinning in turn three. Lee still held the point with Jerry Fuson, Royce McGowan, Shaw, and Dennis Barton the top-five.

The final yellow flag would come out on lap as Hollin Carson spun in turn two with Lee still out front.

Lee would go on to win with a strong margin at the line over Fuson, McGowan, Barton and Mark Walters completing the top-five.
