just wanted to say thanks to all that came out to race with us sat nite .the 1/8 mile was fast hope to see you all soon. ROB/SAM/DAN AUDARY

I heard Bellerive is averging the same
18.3 karts (add the total for 3 races posted and divide by 3)
They also had the big bedrock race so kart counts would be low at all area tracks

Wanye city is just starting out and in time the kart count will be higher
It has alot to offer

jbaseball_26: Make sure you bring that beautiful blonde of yours. I'm sure we'd all enjoy some nice scenery. That is if she hasn't gotten sick of you by now.

lol that's funny anders she'll be there with my baby girl... She's probably sick of me but just keeps me around for the heck of it..lol

We will be running our first 100 lp race this weekend. I hope we have a big turnout, as the prize money and engines to be given as prizes will be determined by how many show up. While I hadn't planned on giving an engine to the winner of the 100 lapper, I probably will if there are at least 10 in the race. To make it fair on the 100 lapper, there will be a 350 lb requirement so all the classes can run together. I will have quite a bit of weights with me if anyone should need some to race the 100.

Our plan is to run a 100 lap race once a month and at a minimum, we will give back 100% of the entry fees to the top 3-5, depending on how many enter. When we raced the 200 lapper at Fast Tracks, which is a 1/5th mile paved track, there were 18 entries, so it shows me there is interest in the longer races. We just may put on a 200 lap event at the end of the season if enough are interested. I will try to get enough sponsors to make it worth racing it, but at Fast Tracks, they just gave trophies and that was enough to get people to race it. The great thing about these engines, is that you can run a 100 lapper and it won't wear your engine out. It is also a great way to improve your driving skills even if you don't place in the top. So for anyone thta is new to clone racing, the 100 lapper may just be the ticket to getting the seat time you need to improve.

At the 200 lap event, we had a break at the 100 lap mark and will probably handle the 100 lap event the same way, but we will let the racers decide. If we do have the break, it will be a short one, just long enough for teams to add fuel, change oil if you want, change tire pressures, and that will be about all. No tire changes will be allowed unless you have a flat. I want everyone to be able to stay in the race, but you should have your kart set up by then. As always, we will accept imput from the teams and adjust as the majority asks for. This is pretty new to karting, so a few tweaks will have to be made, but it goes a lot quicker than you think and is a great event to run in.

I will be posting again on the current weather staus to keep everyone up to date, but as of 11:00 AM, it is looking good and I'm sure we will be racing.

As always, you can call me, Rob, Sam, or my wife, Audrey, and get information.

I knew I read somewhere that you were going to give a motor away for the 100 lapper. lol

I see that. It was meant for the clone feature, but don't fret, we will be giving away more engines. We did pay out 100% of the 100 lap race and as many people I heard talking about how sore they were, we may have to include a break at 50 laps.

We are new to running a track and are trying a few new things and we do take all suggestions seriously. We have already changed the way we do the gate fee, as some teams had issues the way we did it. I'm glad they spoke up.

I have spent close to 5000.00 on a scoring system, but have yet to figure out how to get it to span the wide track, as it is an RFID system, that needs the readers over the racers, so I have to span the wide track and yet be able to move it frequently for the water truck and the other races that have bigger cars and don't use it.

I am working on getting some form of scoring system to make things more accurate and speed things up. We didn't have a problem with the number that were there this weekend, but if we got a bigger crowd, it would be harder to keep it under control and get everyone out by midnight. I did notice that most ran the outside of the track by the flagstand, so I may install it there, and just put a cone where the reader stops picking up the chips that go on the helmets. You could still drive on the inside if you were needing to get out of the way, say if there was a wreck, but then we would go back to the previous lap like we would do anyways. If you did run on the inside of the cone, you just wouldn't get scored, but nobody runs there anyways, so we may try that.

We are looking for ways that make racing as fair and as fun as possible. Any suggestions you have are welcomed.
