As his cousin and one of his best buddies, I have plenty of funny stories!

Here is one of the best. We decided to travel to Michigan speedway to see NASCAR event in 1997. we camped out on the infield. As you know tony always wore his Jeff Gordon hat and Jeff Gordon shirt, especially to NASCAR events!

Sat night as the party on the infoeld got louder and bigger, tony and a couple of our friends went to walk around and see all the craziness. After an hour or so here comes our 2 friends running full speed to our campsite and told me and glenn that tony smarted off to some Earnhardt fans and got jumped by a bunch of people who were beating the crap out of tony and he needed our help! My friend glenn and i ran full speed following our friends, not knowing how bad tony was hurt or how bad the situation would be! After running full speed for about 200 yards they suddenly stop and look for tony where they last left him. There was a lot of panic and emotion as our best buddy was gone! After a few seconds of us all looking around the area, we see tony leaning against someone's truck laughing as hard as he can! It was all his idea to play a trick on us!

He was so much fun! I've got plenty more stories!

Over the years I was blessed with attending many nights of racing with Tony. The racing will kick off again come spring, but a part will forever be missing. Tony and all his family are in my prayers. Rick Worley
