Who would go to Clay county Speedway!

With Mt. Vernon announcing the Closing of there Dirt facility any Crate drivers would like to see Clay County Pick up Crates for the rest of the season.

Clay county Speedway in Flora, Il is set to Open May 23 2009.

UMP streetstock
UMP Hornets

Racing @ 7pm

Who all is attending Opening Day @ CCS!

we would be there if they would run ump crates and they might get the boys from the Benton DuQuoin and from MtVernon and some of the cars that go to Tri-City on friday nights not going to get our hopes up but it would be nice not have to drive 170to180 miles on saturday just to race

I think it is non wing 410 sprints by the MSCS rules....but don't hold me to that.

Martintoni would be there if UMP Pro Crates run and they pay well enough. Had planned on running Mt Vernon ...have been going to MCS but Clay Co. a little closer.

From the grumblings around here Richard wants to see what he is gonna end up with the first of the season before he bites off another class and more expenses. Just wants to make sure he is on solid ground before taking on more risk at the pay window. Keep coming with the good ideas though CCS can use all the positive help they can get.

I'm sure that we would bring 2 or 3 crates if running UMP rules. Closer and better track than the others.

well off to a good start with the crates we got 8cars on here that said they would come and the 01 of casey thats 9 and i could think of 5 more for sure thtas 14 and some more that run Tri-City would come if it was ump and i think thats the only way crates would work at ccs if ump

Question on website and sprints.

I have been unable to find a current website for Clay County. Has it changed or is the 2009 information not on there yet. Also, are they going to run sprints on a weekly basis or just special shows? I would enjoy crates and sprints as well as a summernational date.
