Winchester & North Alabama consolidated Engine rules for November 15 and 16

Winchester Speedway will adopt the NAS engine combination rules for the November 15 show in deference to NAS's exixting LM rules. Winchester Speedway will allow the Spec heads - any intake combination (Cleveland Engine combo) with those spec engined racers adding 50 pounds (2,250 pounds).
North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama in Conjunction with Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Tennessee will host "Twin" Fall Sizzler 40's" on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 and 16.
Winchester Speedway has already announced a 40 Lap, $3,000 to win - $250 to start Fall Rebel Sizzler for Saturday November 15th. Now, Jeff Greer at North Alabama Speedway will host the same show for Super Late Models on Sunday November 16th! Racers will have the oppurtunity to race on consecutive days for $3,000 to win and $250 to start, both days.
On Sunday the 16th of November NAS will open their gates at 11:00 AM with racing to begin at 2:00 PM. North Alabama Speedway will also be running: IMCA Type Open Wheels, Renegades, Street Stocks and their new "Late Model Stock" division. Note: NAS & Winchester Speedway LM rules will be as follows: All Open Engines- 2,300 lbs. / All 362 Steel Head, flat top piston, engines are: 2,200 lbs. with 12" spoiler / All SPEC engines are: 2,200 lbs. with 12" spoiler. www.northalabamaspeedway.com
On November 15, 2003, Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Tennessee will host their first Annual 40 lap “Rebel Fall Sizzler” for open Late Models, paying $3,000 to win and $250 to start. We will also be running “IMCA Type” Open Wheels paying $600 to win and paying all 24 starters. In addition to the Late Models and Open wheels we will be running: Super Stocks ($300 to win), Outlaw Ponies ($300 to win), Mini Stocks ($200 to win) and Pure Stocks ($150 to win). We will not run our 2-BBL LM class during this event. LM’s will Time Trial and run a 40 lap main event. Last chance races utilized as needed. All other classes will draw and run heat races.

Basic Late Model tire rules are as follows: Any compound tire on front with any brand tire on rear that will durometer 60 or greater when cold. We do not stick front tires at Winchester. NAS will check all 4 tires, front and rear. Gas or alcohol and a 1 pound per lap burn off allowed after any race. There is a $100 entry fee for Late Models only. No entry fee for any other class.
Gates Open at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning with driver’s meeting set for 12:30 PM and Hot Laps to commence at 1:00 PM. LM time trials and racing will immediately follow. Inclement weather make-up date will be Sunday, November 16, 2003
Note: Should weather cause Winchester Speedway to utilize Sunday as a make-up date, NAS will cancel their show on Sunday and Winchester will run on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully the weather will co-operate and both $3,000 to win and $250 to start shows will see sunshine and a great racing "DoubleHeader". Tracks are 125 miles apart.
