Shannon Davis pushed his teammate after Holmes dropped out but to no avail as Haddon captured the feature event while Davis slipped to third place when 2003 Champion, David Jackson got by the Estill Springs racer as the laps were winding down. Two of the quickest cars on the track during the final circuits were Memphis, Tennessee's Ben Reed and Kenneth Sweatt. As Reed exited turn four heading for the checkered flag his "Warrior" Open Wheel mysteriously shut off allowing Sweatt to take fourth spot at the line.
