WOW! What a race at daytona!

I hope some people taped the race it was awesome. I am so glad Jamie McMurray won, I can't stand either one of the busch brother's. Now as far as Tony Stewart, he is the biggest baby there is! That was typical of him blame somebody else for his mistake! Way to go tony, take out your own teamate. Why would anybody want to be his teamate?
 
Tonights race was one of the best finishes I have ever seen. I would like to say good job Jamie on the win. It was really an interesting race. Also I was really amazing to see David Gilliand spin in the middle of the pack and nobody hit anyone else.
 
That was fantastic! I'm happy for McMurrey and was hopeing he'd have another chance to win after running out of gas last week late in the race.
 
I was disappointed that I wasn't getting to go to the local tracks tonight for dirt racing. However, the Pepsi 400 made missing a night of dirt racing all worth it! Awesome race with lots of close action. Could have been anyone's race to win there at the end. Jamie did a spectacular job!

I use to be a fan of his, but his head has grown bigger than his buttocks:eek::eek:.. Congrats to McMurry,,
 
He is lucky that the wreck didn't take out alot of cars! I can't believe Joe Gibbs racing and Home Depot want him to stay around!
 
I could just weep. I had work stuff to do all day today, so I had to tape the races. Taped the Busch race and since my TV was off whilst taping, the DISH TV "screensaver" popped up an hour into the race, so I didn't get to see it. And in what has to be the most unbelieveable moment of my life, I didn't even get to see the anthem for the Cup race tonight because I left my remote on my couch and apparently, one of my dogs walked on the thing, changing the channel. At least I got to see most of the highlights on NASCAR.com. I'm just sitting here in shock...
 
What a bad night for the racer who is never at fault, Tony Stewart. First he is shown during prerace activities with the ever skanky Linda Vaughn and then he takes out his own teammate and tries to blame Denny. Typical Stewart fashion.
 
If you watch the replay..slowly. Hamlin really does almost stop in the corner(probably from a severe push) and Tony coul;d not lift due to the freight train behind him. Play Nascar 2007 at Daytona. Do bump draft ect and you will see what im talking about. I donot agree with Tony's remarks. I do think Joe Gibbs needs a team meeting and iron this out and tell both drivers to watch out for each other. Not to watch out for just theirselves.

lifting off the throtle is not almost stoping. maybe he slowwed a little to avoid wrecking. fact is stewart ran him over and then cried to everybody who would listen. so hamlin not only has to follow nascar rules but stewarts rules also? what happened to passing somebody clean? stewart just wants everybody to pull over and let him go by. give me a break.

jeff and jimmy are the ultimate teammates,help a different team win instead of your own.
 
He could not pass Hamlin. His car wasnt that good either. Thats the point. Tony was just riding along..helping hamlin and drafting all the same time. Hamlins car did slow pretty fast. Im sorry but it did. Tony had no choice but to do what he did. Like i said..play a nascar game and youll see what happens if you do something stupid like let off the gas..move a little to avoid someone slowing or god forbid touch the brakes. You will be in 3 times more of the problem than if you sit there pucker up your area and hope like heck it dont all fly apart in your face. I did say i did not agree with his comments. It is totally not cool to say the things he did. I hope Joe Gibbs straightens them boys out because they do have good cars

i'm not trying to insult you but come on. comparing a nascar video game to real racing is a joke.

Actually the nascar 2007 is realistic and even actual nascar driver's use the game to help them train for races. Its not a lie. Just saying, if you play the game you will understand totally what im saying. Restrictor plate racing, you cannot lift. You do and you will be a train crash. Drivers say it all the time and its true.
