www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series mini sprints join Lavonia Speedway and East Alabama Motor Speedway Father’s Day weekend specials

Atlanta, GA – June 5, 2014 – The www.rockauto.com USCS Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints re-start their 2014 racing schedule after two straight rain-out with a North Georgia and Eastern Alabama double-header in the Southern regional series on Father’s Day weekend. On Friday, June 13[sup]th[/sup] the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series will join the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint cars for a USCS sprint car double-header at the re-modeled Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia. On Saturday, June 14[sup]th[/sup] the USCS 600 Sprint drivers make their only 2014 visit to East Alabama Motor Speedway for the USCS Alabama Sprint Car Nationals 2014. Both tracks have been USCS driver and fan favorites in past seasons. Both events will pay $500 to the USCS 600 Sprint winner with $1300+ possible in cash and contingency awards over the two-night weekend.

The series last visited Lavonia Speedway last season on the same weekend. The 4/10 mile red clay oval track was closed for two years before re-opening for the 2013 season under new ownership. The USCS 600 sprint cars will be making their one and only scheduled appearances of the season at both speedways.

In addition to the 100 mile per hour www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series mini sprints, the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged sprint cars plus the Fastrak Pro Late Models, Hobby, Stock Four Cylinders and Rookie/Beginner Four Cylinders are on the racing card on Friday night.

On Saturday night both of the USCS sprint car divisions are on the USCS Alabama Sprint Car Nationals racing card. At East Alabama Motor Speedway four weekly racing divisions also join the action with those open wheel headliners. Thise Saturday EAMS divisions are the Limited Late Models, Hobby, Bombers and Road Warriors.
