When Nascar and USMTS went to the chip rule,it opened up alot of other problems! Mainly valvetrain issues! The hard tire with the stiff sidewall is the best answer in my opinion!
I had a lr from I55 that the 2 outer treads were gone,essentially making the tire 2" narrower,and ge told me the same thing! Turn it around,grind it,and dont be concerned about the fact that it is 2" narrower!
As far as i know they are not having issues at highland! But it is completly differant,the track is much slower and usually wouldnt knock the tits off the old D's! Belleville wont be a problem either!
