Dirt Track Racing Movie Starring John Travolta and Shania Twain

They never seem to get racing right in Hollywood. Its exciting to see a movie about late model racing, but really, how bad do you think this is going to be? https://trailers.apple.com/trailers/independent/trading-paint/

Mod Lites at Belle-Clair next season?

    BELLE CLAIRE SNUBS PRO 4'S

As a fan I'd rather tracks stick with four classes. I love racing, but some of the programs are getting too long. Three and a half hours is perfect. You can't do that with five or six classes.

    Kenny Wallace's new Impressive Modified

I thought he always put the number on the rear panel because the sponsor deserved the prime placement on the side. Change of heart?

NASCAR Champions Without the Chase & Declaring the Greatest of All TIme

@Tom Haeffner, Tim Richmond won 13 races in 185 starts. 7% win percentage. For perspective a sampling of drivers: (Not a Top-10 List, a sampling) Richard Petty: 200 wins in 1184 starts: 16.8%% Dale Earnhardt: 76 wins in 676 starts: 11.2% Jeff Gordon: 92 wins in 761 starts: 12.0% Jimmie...

NASCAR Champions Without the Chase & Declaring the Greatest of All TIme

@t.nie Factoring in tires would be interesting. Really there are a lot of factors that changed competition over the years. The 1981 change from the "big cars" to the "small cars" would also be another interesting division. Someone with more time than I have can break everything down further.

NASCAR Champions Without the Chase & Declaring the Greatest of All TIme

David Pearson suffers in the stats department for a few reasons: He peaked at the same time as Petty, he didn't have impressive modern era numbers, and as you stated @salsdad he rarely ran full seasons. The argument could also be made that that a pre-modern era win is as worth as little as...

NASCAR Champions Without the Chase & Declaring the Greatest of All TIme

Who is the greatest driver ever? Easy. Richard Petty right? Maybe not. Who is your pick? Below I've broke down my argument of who I believe is the best NASCAR driver ever. Who is your "Greatest of All-Time"? We are a decade into the "Chase Era" of NASCAR. Since 204 NASCAR has declared...

Maybe I'm just a bit dim, but I can't find a schedule of events for this weekend's USAC Silver Crown/NASCAR Truck event. Qualifying times? Race times? Does anyone know or have the link?

When I interviewed him earlier in the season for my show, he said that he'd like to start running 35 or so races per year instead of the larger schedule he had been running. www.finishlineradio.com/podcasts

If You Wonder If IndyCar Can Put On Good Racing?

Awesome race! I have to say I grew up a stock car/NASCAR guy. The more races I've gone to the more I'm becoming a USAC/champ car guy. Great racing all around!

    Thanks to the Hammer Man

I just wanted to thank Mike Hammerle. Last week I brought my Boy Scout to Belle-Clair to do the opening flags. After the race I took them to the pits. I asked Mike if he could tell them a little about late models, none of the scouts had ever been to a race. He not only told them about the car...
