I am no way shape or form working for ump but I worked very hard to get the rules to acomadate the race cars that we have so we don't have to change half our racecars so we can race. Also so we don't have to change our cars to race at a different track.
Fords and dodges are legal you can post anything you want. It still won't change the fact that they are legal. They don't need to change anything if the rear suspension if it's legal according to the rules for rear suspension on highlands website.
That's good news another track that will have the same rules all running the same rules. Did I say the same rules. For those of you that didn't read the posts right I said the same rules. Fords and dodges are legal at every track.
The rules are what I stated in the first post I just used highland/fayette rules as a reference. Highland, pevely, fayette county,Macon,Jacksonville and Paducah have all agreed to run the ump rules in 2015. I'm not sure where you guys are getting your information. If you want the facts go to the...

J bars are allowed in the ump rules as are eliminator's. Also your open motors are legal fords and dodge's are legal also. Hope this clears some stuff up
The ump rules are just what this class needs. You have two good seasons to run an open motor without the weight effecting you these car weigh 2500-2600 with the driver anyway. The shocks you have now just need approval. You can run a j bar in front of the rear end you can run eliminator's. Hell...
Kevin your rules are not going to help the class. They may help you car count for a while. Ump finally came out with a set of rules so a racer can go from track to track without changing his car. This is great for the class. You being a former racer should know this. Don't let a few chowder...
