I was told that they decided not to run street stock because the Granite cars rules give them an advantage. And I would agree with that to a point. Granite allows aftermarket clutches and heads. I know they dont want to tech like they used to and thats the only way to keep a even playing field...

I agree 28 isnt too much. As far as the add a class to offset the cost NO WAY!!!! I would much rather pay 3 dollars more and only have two classes for these shows. Thats a big problem with local racing now too many classes. If you think five plus classes is ok good but in my years of racing less...

We didnt get to hot lap either in the street stock class. Its how they run their show. The rain held off alot longer than I expected and glad they got in what they did and greatly appreciate them allowing us to race our feature first as scheduled.

Hopefully the forecast changes and the weather is good. But if it stays the same we should all support any tracks decision. No one can take loses like that and I for one would much rather have the track racing when its nice and they can make money over them losing their butt and closing.
