#52 RAMS S-10 for Sale (Many time Feature WINNER)

Fastest Chevy ministock @ DRR or MCS. I lead 13 0f 15 laps @ DRR last Friday night 9/09/05 and I lost the feature because I screwed up  not the truck!

Hey Marty bring the truck to MCS this weekend, it looks as if the mini stocks move quicker up there.

The Dog is right.....Dave sold his the 1st night that he put it up
for sale......Besides, theres a $100 bounty up for grabs @ MCS
& I can't think of a better guy to win it....Plus, the extra $100
will pay the travel expenses....Marty Boyer, "Come on down"

"Yes Kenny I screwed up (I thank you just like hearing me say that Ha, Ha)!

See my explaination under "Congrats Marty" thread by Becca.

Thanks Jon. The Motor alone would cost atleast $2,000+$300 in tubing Gage and bumbers. All of the bed supports are Aluminum as well is the bed cover. This truck weights under 2,300 lbs with out me (265lbs.) & 60lbs of lead I have in it. I cross the scale when it's clean about 2550 with me & the 60lbs lead. It took alot of work to get a S-10 this lite. There is no other truck or Chevy in the local mini stocks RAMS or DRR that can run with this one. It's a Top 4 finisher unless I screw up  . $3,000 Truck, Trailer and complete roller (Good body for 2006). Front clip & drivers door on race truck won't need changed just Pass. door & Bed. Bed is easy to change.

Marty, maybe this might help people understand what a good buy your truck is.

Two years ago I built a new mini stock car (a Pinto) from the ground up. Dean Motsinger built the cage and did an outstanding job. We didn't cut a lot of corners but we saved money whereever we could. Just putting the cage in, gutting the car (which is a huge pain in the butt) we already had around $1,500 in the car by the time you include fuel cell, tubing and misc. items needed for the body and frame. That wasn't including the inital cost of the car which was only $100, but still that keeps adding to the bill. By the time we worked over the engine, transmission, added the proper gages, tires, wheels, radiator, shocks, new carb, and a million misc. items we were almost ready to get it ready to paint. We were up to about $3,900 then (total). By the time it was painted and the graphics were added along with some additional front end items we had to get it was up to around $4,600.. Remember, this wasn't including any $$$ for time and labor. Also, my motor and transmission in that car was completely STOCK!! It came out of a 1985 Mustang with 170,000 miles on it. We pulled it out of the old car one day and stuck it directly into the race car without anything being done to it.
After finally getting the car done we had about $5,300 in it with a stock motor. When I sold it to Duck, he put a good $1,500 in cleaning and fixing the motor alone. That's $6,800... Oh yeah, I had to buy a trailer to haul the thing around @ $600. That's $7,400... That doesn't include working out the kinks of the car early... First night we lost a complete front wheel constuction at SFCR.... I'm sure Marty remembers that because it all bounced coming down on Marty!... What Marty is asking for a 1st rate, top of the line truck that has been extremely well maintained is DIRT CHEAP! Plus the truck is SAFE and a winner. Isn't that what it's all about!

Believe it or not, these photos were taken about the time we had about $1,500 in the car....

"Thanks Jeff, Your right!"

I guess everyone wants a Bargain instead of a winner! It took me 2 years to get my truck dailed in. It has good pieces, not cheap junk. New 500cfm Holley and new steering qwickner the 2nd 1/2 of this year. Well all I know is once I start reskinning the truck bed & r/h door it will be off the market.

Please set the record straight, will the engine you raced it with stay in the truck? or will you replace it with a stock one?

"The Race Engine stays in the truck, Thats what makes it race ready not drive ready!"

Jon, Here is my reply to the "QUACKING" I put on the Classified post:

"Talk is just that talk!" I'm a honest guy and would cheat no one!
I wish to sell the #52 truck complete as it finished the season. The only thing I have removed since the last race is the DIRT that it got on it @ DRR the last night. I want to get completely out of Mini-Stocks, anything that I have that is S-10 goes! Why would I remove the race engine when I don't have a need for it? Think what you wish, I'm sure if you didn't win in my truck it would be because I removed all the GOODIES! Thanks for believing it's my driving skills, but it was the 2nd year I had the truck before I got it good enough to win. If someone doesn't buy it soon I'm going to replace some panels and paint it for next year:eek: . I'll race it before I sell it cheap like lesser trucks.

This truck won the last heat it was in @DRR and lead 13 of 15 laps in the feature until I screwed up after the restart and lost the lead, my fault not the trucks! As said before all I did was wash it. Oh yes, I have since put the 3:42 in to race @ MCS put due to $3.15 a gallon for gas I didn't go!

Someone comes up with $2,500 for only the race truck (No Trailer) before oct 31 it's yours!
Thanks Jon, Marty Boyer

Man you guys don't know Marty very well. All the man is trying to do is sell a great race truck and if he says it's the way it is then that's the way it is.
