Any MCS Results?

wildman00,,could you refer me some where that i could find out about this new UMP rule regarding lapped traffic,,thanks

Mel Said At The Drivers Meeting, "if You Use Your Front Bumper On Someone And They Spin, You're Going To The Back". I'm Not Saying Eddie Did It On Purpose, But He Got Into The 8 And He Spun. What Can Ya' Say. At Least They Enforced Their Rules. Most Of The Time People Complain About Tracks Not Making The Calls. If The Spin Hadn't Collected Others Who Knows, They May Have Let It Go??? But, It Did And They Didn't!

Congratulations John Seets !!! He Jumped From Mods To Late Models And Running With Alot Of Top Guys He's A Dam Good Driver And Glad To See Him Pick Up A Feature Win He Won At The Summer Nationals At Godfrey And There Were A Few Big Dogs In The Race He Won !! Way To Go John !!

Lol i think your mistaken..he didnt win at godfrey during summer nationals...that was Shannon Babb....but he made the show and thats a hell of an accomplishment! John can drive anything with wheels...

The track was a little rougher than normal, but with all the rain, what can you do? They did the best they could. Intermission was a little long, I understand that they were trying to improve the track for the features, but from what I heard, it really didn't help any and just drug intermission to 45 minutes instead of 30. Over all the racing was great, close call with Trashdog during the B-Mods, glad he can move fast...the officiating could have been better, but no one is perfect. I am sad to see Ben Lemmons leave MCS...he and his wife are great people and we have gotten quite a few good pictures from them...Good luck to where ever you all end up!

Actually Dixon did come down to carry the checkered flag after the heat race but Ben had it on his 4 wheeler in turn 4, Ben didn't know the race was over.

So when Ed came by me and the pre-destroyed barrel on the front straight all I could do was say good race....lol

It was a great night of racing and Im gald to see that Jason Frankel came back after a huge crash in turns 3 and 4 in his heat. He came from 9th to 3rd. Hell of a driver that Jason Frankel is man I love to watch him race. The whole Dixon thing was right...Dixon had plenty of time to slow down b4 getting under 8...and just like Mel said ANY car that spins out another car with their nose goes to the back...that meant any and all cars not all cars behind the leaders...about that intermission oh man I dont even have enough room for that piece of mind Ill post it on another thread...Well all and all congrats on your win Seets.

Let's not forget that the reason it took so long, was because they added about 2 more lanes up top by cutting the cushion, which was were all the feature racing was going on.

John told me after the win that it was kind of a gift, and I had to remind him that he still had to hold off Mark Voigt. Voigt was giving Seets all he could handle those last 6 or 8 laps or so.

The Collins/Dixon race was just insane battle of the titans stuff, shame it ended the way it did in lap traffic. They were both flat out going for it.

if this the case of what mel said, then why in the a-modified feature, the #36 car spun another car out and they did not even put out a caution. the car was on the track waiting for a caution and then when he figured there wasnt going to be a caution, he spun his car back around and almost hit the leader...My Question is, WHERE WAS MEL FOR THAT????????

I dont watch the modifieds...I dont really know what happened but another huge problem out at MCS is there Flagman...he ****s...no offense but it is dangerous...when the flag man goes lights out and an official runs back out onto the track almost getting ran over to call one more lap...What can I say that track needs alot of work...and not only during the intermission...I mean it needs alot of work with the officials and the flagman...everything especially the price...$12 dollars and $25 for a pit pass...

It's not the track that needs work. The biggest problem is the flagman. The rest of the track officials do a pretty good job. A few weeks ago I saw him wave the checkered flag for the leader and then wave the white for a lapped car and then resume waving the checkered for those still on the lead lap. WTF is up with that? He never waves the yellow flag, ever . He takes way too long to notice that a track official is waiving a yellow before turning on the yellow light and still doesn't even touch his yellow flag. I go to MCS every weekend and love going there. It's great racing in my mind but that damn flag man has got to go. They need to put "The Bird" back in there. He knew what he was doing. :D

From what I've heard even the drivers want the old flag man back, they don't like this guy. That's for damn sure. Hopefully he's out of there before I start racing.

The birds gotta come back! Keeps him sober until at least the races are over. One of the best flaggers I have been around. and he is still just a young man. He is a natural. Mel needs him back. He's lost several cars already and gonna lose more if the problems with the new guy doesnt stop.

Bird Come Back

I agree with all of you...the bird needs to come back! He always did an awesome job...and the cautions would run much smoother if he was up in the stand instead of who ever this new guy is...I understand you have to give people time to learn, but when it comes down to cautions, the more time it takes for him to learn the trade, the more cars are gonna get torn up, and/or drivers hurt.:(

Wannabee Flagmen/women!

Ok, For All You So Called Wannabee Flagmen/ Women Who Think You Can Do Better Than Mike, Lets See You People Get Out There And Do A Better Job. You Have To Realize Something Here, This Is Mike's First Year Of Doing This He Will Make Mistakes. Didn't You As A Driver Make Mistakes Your First Year, Thats All You People Do Is Criticize Our Track How Rough It Is, How Bad The Officials Are And The Scoring. Lets See You Score A Feature And See How Many Times You Mess Up. See I'm The Flagman In Turn 1 & 2 And When I Call For A Caution On My Headset I Have To Wait A Period Of Time To Call It Because The Guy That Spins May Start Moving Again, You Just Don't Call For A Yellow Auotmatically When He Spins By Himself, Only When He Gets Taken Out, And Then Thats A Judgement Call By Me And The Rest Of The Guys. I Think We Everyone There Does A Hell Of A Job, You Just Have To Give Mike A Break, He Can Only Get Better As The Season Goes On. We All Work Out Butt Off Out There Trying To Watch Our Corners For Accidents And Debris, I'd Just Like To See You People In The Stands And Some Of You Drivers Take Our Job For One Night And Lets See How You Fair V.s. What We Do. Then We Can Criticize You Guys On Your Efforts.
