Att sportsman drivers, who wants sportsman back at tri city?

Not to shoot down your idea, but I don't think many drivers would get very excited about making the haul to a track, and all that is involved, just to run one race (the feature). Also, without a heat (and without hot laps, as Tri-City doesn't usually let the hornets hot lap), you would have no idea how the car is going to handle on the track that night and no chance to test a setup prior to the feature. Not only would the starting order be totally random, but you could do no more than a "best guess" regarding setup.

Because different cars have different gears. Also there are dual cams and single cams...Dual cams put out more power (the fast cars at Tri City) Pevely is one of the few tracks to run single cams so when some of them come over the cant keep up with us (Tri City cars) and there are other fast cars at Tri city other than Shaw Cars.....
 
right, how hard is it to tune a hornet, you have to run min air in rf, and if you were stock then you have the same offset rims, i don't know if you can change size of tires or not, so lets see.....use twice as much gas, wear and tear on your car, have more of a chance to pop a tire or crash your car....mmmmm i would rather run for the same money with less spending on gas and tires...... well that might make since oh well....

aND ALSO I think they should bring back the two man cruiser cars, think about it from the track owner side...Two Drivers, two pit passes per car. and pay the winner the equivelent or one pit pass. From the racers point of view they had a blast, one person controlled the steering and brake, and the other person controlled the gas. Always a lot of fun. but again the fans didn't like to sit and watch them.

what a deal and very entertaining. Just a thought and it probably won't happen again anyway.

i agree with u on your idea would be alot of fun to race that way i would love to see sportmans back that would be on chance of whos up front and not he same cars win every week
 
So with sunday being the rules meeting; will Sportsman guys show up? Should they come anyways if they planning on them at TCS for the Extreme Series? Good luck to all!!
