Hmmm. Wow! That's just the point. Successful slide job. Fast enough and Clearing the other driver. Bobby wasn't clear of either driver. Babb or Melvin. If Babb wasn't all over the brakes he would've made definite contact. So what I am hearing is that it's ok for bobby to pull a slide job and not be clear but if someone does this same thing to bobby then you would have a problem.

Problem with Bobby (or any kid who's parents flip the bill) is that he/they don't know what it takes (financially) to pay for a race car.
Most race with reckless abandonment.
I see it in Bobby, and I've seen it in kids before him.
When they race on their own dime, the driving style is different.

Yes he had Babb cleared only because Babb slammed on the brakes to avoid wrecking and taking them both out. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that out but, I can see you can't see that. Heck Bobby said himself he was not happy about that move.

Lol idk man I wasn't in babbs car with him, I don't know how hard or soft he was on the brakes to avoid contact that may or may not have happened. I admit babb got on the brakes to keep from running into the back of Bobby, but IMO he was cleared before him having to get on brakes. I hope they both put it behind them and keep putting on good CLEAN battles.

Good I'm glad you said in your opinion. Yes he was cleared and yes Babb hit his brakes to avoid like I said potentially taking them both out. But, in my opinion Babb slammed on the brakes to avoid the bonehead move by Pierce and like I said Bobby was not even happy with that move and even said so in his post race interview so, he knew it was a bad move but, thaks to Babb it worked out for him
I've been waiting for someone to bring up Phillips. He'd slide anyone whether he was clear or not and didn't care who he ran over or ticked off.
I've never seen so much being made of a slider where there was no contact. So Babb had to hit the brakes. It happens to someone at every track nearly every week!
This isn't the first time Babb put someone in the wall during the H&R 100. He put Feger in the wall in 2010 or 2011.

Just pointing out Babb isn't as squeaky clean as some of you think. By the way, Feger wasn't all that happy that Babb put him in the wall while he was leading in the closing laps. As far as I know Feger never repaid Babb.
