My other thread has become more about the clone rules than the class structure. Dad's please let me know what you are thinking. Without input from you folks I'll assume everyone has read and agrees with the proposal.
I'm for it as long as we can create classes with at least 6 or 8 weekly karts per class.
After the meeting there was discussion on the Jr classes and how to get more in line with the rest of the karting world. I've read the WKA tech manual, searched the online forums and spoke to some different tracks. Here's what I've come up with and it pretty much mirrors Sangchris and Duquoin. I think the realignment will give new racers a chance to run up front and allow the "veteran" juniors to gain seat time in faster karts.
There will not be any clone /flathead mixing, except in rookie B. Way too many variables and haven't gotten a real good answer on how to make it work.

Looking for constructive feedback from the Rookie and Jr. parents. A decision will be made by the end of Feb.
Bedrock Kart Classes 2012:
Rookie B (5-8 yrs. old) WKA .425 purple plate (250 lbs.) Pump gas only.
Clone engines allowed with a .375 ARC red restrictor plate (250). Pump gas only.
JR1 (8-10 yrs. old) WKA .425 purple plate (250 lbs.)
JR2 (10-12 yrs. old) WKA .500 turquoise plate (275 lbs.)
JR3 (12-15 yrs. old) WKA .575 gold plate (300 lbs.)
Light Briggs flathead (325 lbs.)
Medium Briggs flathead (350 lbs.)
Heavy Briggs flathead (375 lbs.)
JR 1 Clone (8-10 yrs. old) ARC .425 restrictor plate (265 lbs.)
Must run pump gas only 87-93 octane.
JR 2 Clone (10-12 yrs. old) ARC .550 restrictor plate (290 lbs.)
Must run pump gas only 87-93 octane.
JR 3 Clone (12-15 yrs. old) No restrictor (320 lbs.)
Must run pump gas only 87-93 octane.
