Both tracks same night? Not good!
Racing both local tracks on Sat. will hurt both! The racers will really get devided on where to run.Just like putting 2 gas stations across the steet from each other.The one 2 cents cheaper will have a line,the other will be empty,till they drop there price.Beaver Creek went under because of this.None of us want that to happen again.JMO

I am VERY new to this, but why not run Bedrock on Friday nights and then Saturday nights when JYI is not? You will have your regulars on Friday nights and then out of towners plus some JYI regulars on the Saturday nights you do run. I know the cost is probably pretty high for doing this as far as track expenses grow, but if you can pull better kart numbers that way it would be worth a try at least once! Just an idea...

I would preffer Friday, but I would be there Saturday. what ever would get the count up for better & more competition. hey dog fish you going to come racing with us next year??? is that why your looking for a kart?
not sure yet kurt took a new job working 2 to 10 monday through friday.and it depends on if i sell my stuff now or have to sit on it all winter?

Keep racing on Friday.
Why would you worry about OUT OF TOWN people who might
come on Saturday. Keep it the way it is. It works. I can promise you we won't be able to come on Saturday. Thanks for a great year Frank!! You're the best.

I think this would be a good idea if its do able. Iam one of those people who would love to support bedrock but do to the start times we cant make it there in time on fridays. We would still like to run at junkyard on saturdays if they race or would consider going to bedrock instead on saturdays. I feel both tracks trying to run on the same night would hurt them both overall. And if Tobin starts midget tossing screw the racing iam going to the midget toss. This stud tore the back of his block off just trying to straighten out his header!! Look out you midgets.

With any luck JYI will still be sorting out their junk by the time season rolls around next year. This might give Frank the option to hold "event nights" on Sat.the yard doesn't race. I mean what if he could do special races on those nights or at least one of them. A big money race, an extra credit points night, or a giveaway night. Something different. Throw some variety out there I mean come on. Put the fun back into it. Hell I might even make the trip back out to Bedrock for that.
