jimmy i understand that the gas is high right now. heck it is everywhere. but the high price of gas didnt stop him from going to mid missouri out by kansas city and trying to run with the usmts guys! so i dont think gas is a reason there! im not buying the whole motor thing either. jimmys right plenty of highland drivers can and do go to pevely and win there with the motors they have. there is more to the story of why he wont go there. heck a driver who runs highland alot was winning at highland and pevely last year with a motor that came out of a sportsman so what does that say for itself. the motor isnt the reason he wont run pevely! i would just like to know what the reason is. if i remember correctly ms.bielong said the samething last year about brian not having enough motor for something. cant really recall what the topic was but i believe she said it.
 
I don't know you or Brian personally,but I was pitting race cars when he started his career. I just know what I see from the cheap seats now.Have a nice day!!!! Also,I don't waste my time and money at Highland anymore!

I didn't say pevely cars are faster (although most know its true) but since you brought it up ill go there, besides Harrison what regular highland mod could win at pevely? And if on any random Saturday night the top ten from pevely went to highland at least 6 or 7 of them would finish in the top ten, but if the top ten highland mods went to pevely very few if any would finish in the top ten. Jmo
 
anybody thats been around racin for awhile nows damn well that you need a big motor to run pevely. if you dont your going there to run in the back or maybe not even make the show
 
Wouldn't it be great if Bielong showed up at Pevely this Saturday night? Nothing pre-announced, he just showed up. He hasn't personally responded to this thread, so maybe Mrs. Bielong will. Apparently she wears the firesuit in the family (Joey Logano).

Again, a slick track doesn't require motor. Strictly talent. At least 50% of the time Pevely has a slick track. Anybody that's been around racing knows this.
 
Keep up the good work Brian!!! Everyone hates a winner! And I have to agree with Mrs. Bielong it does take a big motor to run pevely, yes it does get slick at times but most of your top ten drivers never have to lift either because of the banking, you have to really be on gas/brake at Brownstown and highland. Wish I had a big motor for him to run cause I think it would be a great show at pevely with Bielong, Walsh, Griffaw, Hancock, Bittle, Harrison just to name a few of the top drivers around here.
 
This might be a little off topic, but didn't Brian win some big street stock show at pevely a few years ago? In someone elses car? With a small motor?
I know....... not a Mod,..... but still something.
 
Yes he did win in the street stocks and it was a descent motor at that time.

We are hoping to have the new car and motor done within a month and I then you can expect to see him at Pevely.

lol, I no way wear the fire suit, I am just the only one who logged in and read the posts, as I stated earlier he could care less if you like him or what you say about him, he is not going to sit on here and read about it.
 
i would bet dean hoffman, chad sellers, bielong, korves, lach, and some others from highland could run top 10 at pevely, i know i can because i did a few times in 2006 when i had a modified before. i am not saying anybody at pevely isnt good, it just gets old when people think it is the best place ever. when was the last time a pevely car ran good at highland?

i also agree with the person talking about people using up the race track, i think every night i have raced this year i have had somebody do that, go from the bottom in the corners up to the outside wall and then back down in the corner. that is a b.s. move, and if you do that you deserve to get wrecked. i will bust somebody in the rear everytime. it shows a lack of respect to your fellow racers.

I think you need to take a look at the top 100 in UMP modified points... Not many Pevely regs there... tells me everyone down there besides Hancock, Weber, Griffaw and Bittle are afraid to race anywhere but I-55. The numbers don't lie!!!!
 
I have an opinion about it but I'll keep it to myself like most of you should because you make yourself look really ignorant. And who would expect dirtboy to post anything with one ounce of inteligence.

you come on here and tell everybody they look ignorant and im not inteligent.well the truth is it was ignorant you didnt hit the brakes and reallt showed your lack of inteligence.
 
didnt see the beilong/sellers incident, but i did see the kleine/beilong incident. 1 of these statements has got to be true... if belong was justified in his move at belleville, then i gotta say sellers was at highland. you beilong lovers cant have it both ways.sellers apparently did what beilong did a week earlier, so beilong must have been ok w/one of the incidents, but totally wrong w/ the other one. which is it? if beilong was "just racin" with what he did vs. kleine, then sellers should get the same benefit vs. beilong. apparently, kleine didnt retaliate (when he got blasted)like beilong did(when he got blasted), so, which is it, people? for the record, im not a follower or fan of anyone involved, so no axe to grind here.
