i agree..if you have seen the likes of payne,crane,blackburn,test,rackers,lyle,stovall,merritt,drake,turner,clark,russell,wilson,ect,they are AS fast as anyone in the country..i say lets get a show-down together.the sprints do it why cant we..would pay good too cause everybody and their brother would show up!!

That is why Steve Payne gets my vote as the best..he is versatile.he has won on 5 or 6 different tracks,has put a win on every car and every motor he has ever set in,including late models.he knows when and when not to turn the aggresiveness on,and he can go to the tail and make things happen to win the feature..all of the names mentioned are fast and GREAT drivers,payne has always been my favorite,does that mean everyone should agree,of coarse not..
why we are on the subject..i like carl edwards alot,but all the drivers i have mentioned have won twice what carl did on dirt!

your not too smart are you they already did last year hence the results the night before wasn't an any prettier payne and the boys could 've shown there stuff last october at I55 what happened

with the price of fuel and what 5 track or more that runs on friday in Ill you tell me beside they already beat your guys a number of time in your ownback yard iwas at the showat tri city when your boys came over they were saying boy the track is slack I had to laugh it around intermission time the track wasn't getting slick yet lol why don't your freinds come over to tri city or farmer city or bville on a fri day night and kick their butt lol

Hound get over the fact that someone doesn't agree with you. You get all pissy when someone doesn't agree with what you say. So what they don't think the drivers you think are the best. Every one has a right to say who they think is the best or not. You are the only one throwing a fit over the fact that people don't agree with you.

your are 100% right..weber is a favorite of mine..the Impressive/SCP combo was unstoppable at times..i havent gotten to see him much in the new car/motor combo.he is a wheel though!

This is just one race. MO and IL both have great driver but this is a post about MO drivers not IL drivers. I do not have the time to sit here and figure out who has more win MO drivers or IL drivers but I would think that they are both pretty close.
I was at the race at LOS , and if the LOS track champ did not get a oil pan Friday at Tri City he would have been top 3, and on Sat night if he did not break a roller lifter he would have been top 3 as well.ANd if Payne did not have engine trouble, and would have had a motor to make the show he would have been bad fast as well. And Harrision all i saw of him was beating on everyone. If my memory serves me right he had to run the B main, cause in the heat he beat on everyone and screwed him self. Harrison,Smith Jr,Martintoni, Did not impress me that much. Now on the LOS 360 nationals the man that impressed me was Weber, and where was Payne that night, well he was in second.
I have to agree with everyone else there is nobody in the world that can say one is faster than the other. Because we do not know the true answer to that question. Now we can all (think) in our heads who is the best, but it will never be proven.Both the Mo and Il boys are fast.
