I have to agree, I think Tobey really helped out saturday night. He drinks and smokes way too much did you see that guy at the end of the night...WOW! I think he got banned to the hauler when the fans came around....I heard he had a rough experience in Florida as well and is only allowed out on certain occassions....

No one runs traction control; No one runs 30 tires that have been restamped as 40's and no one chemically treats their tires to soften them. I guess uou think politicians don't lie and cheat either? Well like Been there, Done That said put your money where your mouth is. If you really believe Billy is cheating then put the money up and have his car check. There are people who cheat out there, but Billy Faust is not one of them.

Let me tell you something Grand Dad, I'm a lot things, but naive isn't one of them. "Electronical" devices as you call them, aren't nothing new. I think a lot of people would be suprised if they knew who all had such things and were doing the things you mentioned. Thing is, why get on here and run down a racers good name? Even if I knew for sure someone had such devices, I wouldn't get on here and spout off about it. If I was one of the people he was beating with it and I knew for sure, I'd do like was mentioned and protest it. Getting on here and slandering a guy serves only two purposes. One it makes you look like an idiot. Two it proves if you race, you obviously can't beat him, or your favorite can't run with him!!!! Obviously you haven't learned much in all your years!
Just because he is young and fast automatically means he cheats? You are comparing politicians to a local race car driver. Hell I guess I cheat because I get A's in college. I must be like every damn politician out there.

real winners don't have to cheat,blame the sanctioning bodies for no tech either not the race teams

Winners don't have to cheat? Son, I know you know better than that! My point exactly the sanctioning bodies and the tracks do nothing to police this problem. UMP is on record as saying they don't have the time or money to check for traction control. And the race tracks don't do much either especially a local track that is not even UMP. I'm not blaming the race teams. What else would you exspect them to do when UMP says they won't check it?
My problem with all of this is; ATTENTION!!!!!! All sanctioning bodies and track owners and promoters don't you think that the 70% of race teams that run legal( or the ones that can' afford to cheat) should have a fair and equal chance to win a race or even finish in the top 5 once in a while? I find it hard to believe that you other race teams don't make more of an issue about this. Don't you want to play on an even battleground?

Do you know for a fact that Billy and his team is using illegal equipment? Can you offer any proof for your allegations?
If you're going to call someone out as a cheater you'd better have some way of supporting your claims.
2 weeks ago Billy Faust couldn't touch Dennis Erb. Does that mean Erb is using traction control? Billy Moyer has entered into 5 $10,000 to win events since the tracks reconfiguration. He has won 3 of them. Is Moyer cheating? To my knowledge, Billy Faust has yet to win a big event at TCS.
My point is this, Billy Faust is better than the rest of the locals (except maybe Korte). However, when the big boys come in he has his hands full. He may perform well (3rd at Budweiser 50), but he has not yet win. Infact, to my knowledge he only has 1 $10,000 career win. So let's ease off of this cheating stuff.
Team Kehrer is in year two and they've come a long way. The whole team has. Look at Matt Santel's results in his Crate Late Model. That guy usually towards the rear of the pack last year. This year he's been competitive. If Dauderman ever has an off night (don't hold your breathe), Santel could win one.
Bottom line, bring some evidence or don't hijack the thread.

Although his car is painted different, Dauderman has a big Kehrer Brothers Roofing logo on the side of his car as well.
Korte, B. Faust, Manville, Dauderman, Santel and all the other Kehrer Roofing cars are sharing information. That is part of the reason they are all getting even better.

It's sad that you have such frustrated and aggravated tone of your (or someones') racing program. Some racers finish a phase with "how you play the game" others finish it with "how you place the blame". Most racers understand their driving skill level, their set-up skill level and their equipment level. While they may have equipment for a top 5 finish once in a while they are quick to admit a driving mistake or set-up mistake for a finish less than they expected.
Almost all top drivers are quick to give credit to the luck of hitting the set-up. Preparation brings the opportunity for luck.
There are those that are quick to blame everything but their driving and set-up skills for their lack of success. Some of those have top 5 equipment and still blame the lack of equipment for their mid-pack finish. After spending alot of money one needs an excuse so why not blame the playing field.
Grumpy, you wonder why others don't make more of this issue. I believe there are no late model drivers that (openly) believe that Billy (or anyone else) is using (or have used) Traction Control.
Perhaps I should survey them all and post the results here. If you (or anyone) could tell me who should be the first I should ask, then I will ask all of them.

Billy won the first $15,000 Challenge of Champions year end race at Pevely back when he was driving the Gerstner/Seger car a few years back. I think that was his biggest win.
