and for the record,yes your right on joey,im not a coward,and no there are more than birgdorf and payne that could go there and win,i only named a couple as an example but i guess you cannot comprehend that...and yes i too know weber i owned one of his old cars for your info,not personally but yes i have talkjed to him many times and yes great poeple.and for the record i have nothing against any driver at pevely,or the track for that matter,my only point was too many poeple take to much away from other local tracks ,and there are alot of others that can win there,on any night..may take some work but can get done..

I really wanted to tell this guy he was fighting a losing battle, you know like taking a knife to a gun fight, but dirtgirl was having too much fun and I didn't want to ruin it for her.

and for the record dirtgirl heres what you posted........... I am sorry to say this and will probally piss some off but there is no comparison to the quality at I-55 in the mods.... Top on through..

28j racer you hit the nail right on the head with that post,too many poeple take for granted what they really have,i am thankful for everything that has been handed to me but what happened on 911 has opened the eyes of many.i have 4 kids and really do not know what i would do if i lost my wife and kids so i feel for all the families that suffer today because of what happened from 911..they will always have a place in my heart....today is their day for sure..i am done with this post!!!!!
 
Brian got the shaft. What Mike did was wrong. There isn't any excuse for the actions he took nor for the consequences that were handed out.
Nothing will ever change with Allied. They have been doing things the same way for too many years. The current Officers and board members have had a tight hold on things and aren't about to let go. They run it their way or NO way. There is no room for discussion. I read somebody on here said somethn about it wasn't Allied, it was Ray Marler. I doubt Ray Marler acted on his own. Marler and Allied are one in the same. They may say different on the outside, but behind closed doors, it's a different story. How do you think Marler makes descions about things he doesn't see? Someone is telling him what happened. The biggest problem at Pevely is, sitting on the front stretch flagstand every night. Bottom line. The calls he makes are absolutely outrageous. Not from a drivers or a competitors view!!! Anyones view!!! He causes more danger than any peice of machinery out there. And then has the other officials in his back pocket to back him up. The upper officails(officers) probally know he makes BIG mistakes. But if they stand ny him, then there becomes a crack in their armor, and it might only take one crack to bring the whole system down.
Bottom line is...and listen to this well....the ONLY way to change it, is to do something about it. And what you ask? STOP GOING!!! When attendance drops, Marler will have to evaluate it. Oh. There is one other way. GET INVOLVED!! Go to A.A.R.A. meetings. Become a voting member. Voice your oppinion. But you will run into what others have. They still won't listen. Now, here's the easy part. When it comes time for a vote. VOTE!!! If you want change then vote them out and somone else in who you think will handle the job better. There is nothing that says they have to stay in the "office" that they hold forever. Everyone can sit on here and complain all they want. If you do nothing about it, then expect nothing. JMO
 
Just to clarify the last post.............Ray Marler and Kenny Schrader own the track.
Allied is hired by Ray & Kenny to run the show. Ray and Kenny as owners have the final decision over what goes on at I-55, on and off the racetrack. Do Ray & Kenny consider Allied's position on an issue? Of course they do. Do Ray & Kenny always agree with Allied's position? No, they do not. If you think Allied tells Ray & Kenny what to do or that Ray & Kenny refuse to consider someone else's position on an issue before making a decision, you are incorrect.

Poor Brian

I wonder if Brian logged on to see if there was any support out there from the fans. Started out OK. Too bad he had to peruse a two page diatribe on who had the better toys. I would like to hear from both sides on this, but if Brian really did get the shaft, and judging from early reports on this and past reports of the behavior of the Kleins he did, then I'm sure a vaunted e-mail attack on the I-55 mailbag might carry some weight. I like watching Brian run, but I don't know him and wasn't there. However it seems that no matter what the situation, judgement was passed a bit quickly and in the heat of the moment probably. Sounds like a little pride swallowing needs to be done.

well dirthound,wolfmier wins at pevely and is always a front runner,but he couldnt even catch the drivers i mentioned so i think that does tell me somethin.......
 
there was thread posted about Allied Officals wrongly putting there hands on someone at Belleville, but it was taken off because it started to not be about that anymore and started to be about something more personal between people involved in that incident. What that post was started about was how an official there, I think it might have been Mike K maybe, grabbed someone by the neck and twisted his arm when the individual was trying to leave after a fight had started. Who do they think they are? Thats not there job. If its that serious the police should be involved and I have never seen a incident at an Allied track that was ever that serious. They have no right to put their hand on another individual. They're lucky so far that no one this has happened to has sued them for assault and battery. I'd love to see Allied get screwed for that one. The incident I was talking about before did leave serious bruises on the persons neck and arm where he was grabbed. Thats how much force that official was using. Now thats just not right.
 
the way i see it is if you put your hands on someone else,you are trespassing that persons personal property,and putting that person in danger.thus being grounds to get your a## whooped..mike was wrong for what he did,jason was only standing for his rights.if i had been put in that position i would have probably done worse just the same as anyone else probably would have.....

I noticed under another post that the GUYS talked about the mods at I-55 you did not reply your post in the same manner as you replied to me :rolleyes: Glad you think about me so highly LOL!!! ;) You noticed I did no bash any driver or any track.... And I did saw many times and have about the racers in this area. They are all over.... Pevely is just hard from top to bottom... And I said I would love to see any driver come I love a good race.... Make sure you post it like it is and not like you wish you would have seen it J/M/O .. And for the record everyone knows ONLY 1 person signs under my user name that is me. One personality that's it. And yes I am the pot calling the kettle black.. :D Have a GREAT DAY!!!!!!
 
i post it how it is,and not how you wanna see it,thats why you dont like it....the hole point is pevely is a descent track yes,has good racers yes,many i like.point is they can be beat,that is that..you love to see a good race,well i guess you'll see one when some of these drivers venture up that way...as far as personalities,ya you sign one name,but ya still got issues sorry we cant help your kind.as i said before i have two other brothers that use this name to buy parts,chat,whatever.if that is having personalities then so be it,their are poeple that know me on here and know who i am,ONE PERSON..
