Bud light at I-55

like it or not,the choices of beer and soda have had a lot to do with whether or not people go to I-55. i like to drink beer and i like to watch races. having said that, i wont buy the beers thay have at I-55 and i only begudginly buy the sodas they offer and it really ticks me off when the machines they have dont work as the fountain sodas they off are just plain horrible. i dont know when they went wrong but I-55 has somehow gone on a thought that it doesnt matter, they will come anyway. guess what, you were wrong. i used to be there every saturday but nowadays its more like twice a year. the food is bad,but i expect that at a racetrack, but to not be able to get decent beer or soda? naw, thats gonna kill ya. and the whole idea of selling big beers dont work either. most folks cant choke em down before they get hot. if you sold 12 ounce cans at a decent price, say $2.50, you would probably sell more of them then the big cans. used to love it when all you had was draft, but it was the coldest draft around. wanda and zelda right behind the flagstand, selling the coldest beer around.didnt mind the mud in my beer near as much whenit was so easy to get another one. im sorry that the sponsors didnt re up for whatever the reason but you have to give people what they want, and currently you arent. ive watched more races sober in the last few years just because of this it isnt funny.

I always said this and tri city is on its way you have to make the place a happening or carnival why do think places like macon fairbury and of course Eldora does so well different variaties on food and refreshments in different places throughout the grounds just a thought , but the beer selection and soda is not great

The lefties call it "climate change" now. The polar ice cap grew , so they couldn't go with global warming anymore!! Lol!!!

Beer is only a small part of the problem. Getting AB back isn't going to miraculously fix anything.JMO

From someone who lives in pevely I can tell you that Yes, that beer thing has a bigger effect on locals attending than you think! I literally know dozens of people that don't go much anymore and that's their main complaint.

than they are not racefans

Beer selection doesn't seem to affect the sprint car turnout. Maybe we have too many drinking fans in the stands, and not enough race fans.
