Bus Trip For The World 100

Just looking around on Eldora's web site and they have next years major races posted.
The Dream June 5/6
The world 100 Sept. 11/12
So book your trip soon.
My guess is durning the world 100 they will do something special for Sept. 11
I think we as a group should do something special that day at the track also. I know at some tracks the drivers take the flag around the track for a few laps. Anyone know where I can get a few hundred hand held size flags? Maybe we can pass some out to people walking by? Just a thought.
Keeping my eyes on the sky for this Saturday. Hope for the best.
We (Bryan & I) do not have practice in karting for Saturday before the dirt track like we usualy do. Ray needs the extra parking for the Summer Nationals. So if it dose rain out early in the day Ray will lock the gate so no one comes in the track. It's his way to let people that drive there know it's rained out so they keep on going, BUT if the gates stay open and everything is a go we will be partying before / during / and after the show. Just thought I would let everyone know to call the track if things look so/so before you come down.
kent from what i have seen the forcast it doesnt look like any parting this weekend except for the rain.. i think you can get the flags at wal-mart.. that would be a nice thing to do when we get to the track to honor the people that lost someone that horrible day..and for the ones that serve for our country also..

Ya thats kinda what I thought also on Eldora. I will look into that idea. I think I might need a wholesailer for a large amount of flags. Any other idea's let me know. I would like to do something nice for Sept. 11 next year.
Now on Pevely I know that suc** oh well we will see.

You might look into getting them at tribout carnaval supplies in belleville..

maybe some red white and blue beads to honor all the the loved ones lost. and we could have some fun at the same time.?.;):D

Still not looking good.....

But with a 10x20 tent maybe it will be ok.

Still going to bring the grill Saturday biscuit or should I load mine? I'm loaded and as soon as I get off work I will be on my way. Not sure what time Ill be there got the shaft from a fellow worker so it might be 4 or 5, If we run.

To the people that were looking for us and our trailer tonight, Sorry we did not bring it but I got off work late and with the bad weather on it's way I thought, just like most of you it was going to be a down poor by dark. We did go all the way down the pit road and meet up with biscuit and his gang, Thanks for the wings they were good. Was that you that won the 50/50 Biscuit? Looking at the weather channel we are going to get wet by morning, so we decided not to race tomarrow and leave the trailer at home. Maybe we all can get together for one of the last 2 races at I55 and if not there is always the Dream next year. Come on out some Sunday in Oct. and watch Bryan race, we will be there racing every weekend in Oct. except during the Dirt Round Up. Oh by the way nice to meet you dirtgril hope to see you soon.

I can't agree with Kent more. What a night of Racing. Mother nature was good to us and so was Mike's BBQ. Had a wonderful day with friends and just couldn't have asked for more. No that was not me on the 50/50 Kent, although if it had been you would have known. Hope everyone made it home safe and thanks for driving PAUL!! Tough to stop drinking so early when you know you have to drive but you managed. Mike thanks again for letting us stop on the way home for RB and vodka. That was the pick up I needed to make it home.

You guys kill me. Please be carefull, I have 3 DWI and that is the main reason I quit drinking. I love my beer. Anyway I was just sitting here geting Bryans kart ready for Springfield next weekend and at 7pm I get a phone call to help move everything off the lower lot at Pevely. I was told at the track they are looking for another big flood on Monday. 2 feet more than the last flood (so Im told) I haft to belive them, the whole gang from the track was moving things to the upper parking lot as fast as there trucks would move. It's suppost to go down by the weekend but who realy knows? We will see. I made the right call by not taking the trailer to Pevely boy did we get slamed by rain over night.

I was told there are deposits already coming in for the Dream so don't let it slip by. The last trip to the World 100 sold out. Im betting The trip to the Dream will also. Just a reminder, They will make nice X-Mass gifts.
