Maybe all the combined smoke from our bbq grills will pollute the sky enough to keep the rain away or we could use superduty89"s Eckert canopy to cover the track that thing was big enough.

Bryan races there on Sunday so rain or no rain we will be there with the trailer. If you get there and things go wrong bring some shorts and play in the rain. Yes we do race in the rain as long as it's not real heavy and lighting. A fine or mist rain and on go the rain tires. You can't say that up top can you? That would be a mess. Bring all the kids it's there turn to party. Soda and chip's only!!! I will bring the horse shoes. We pit just down from the split in the gate, where the rocks end and the grass starts. The kart track is on the other side of the fence.

I do sounds like fun, You know the kids will get muddy and hopefully everyone else will still come, This might turn into a " Little Eldora" 2007

I'm all in, rain or shine! Though today's forecast doesn't look any better. Don't worry about Mike he likes it sloppy anyway.

Just looking around on Eldora's web site and they have next years major races posted.
The Dream June 5/6
The world 100 Sept. 11/12
So book your trip soon.
My guess is durning the world 100 they will do something special for Sept. 11
I think we as a group should do something special that day at the track also. I know at some tracks the drivers take the flag around the track for a few laps. Anyone know where I can get a few hundred hand held size flags? Maybe we can pass some out to people walking by? Just a thought.
Keeping my eyes on the sky for this Saturday. Hope for the best.
We (Bryan & I) do not have practice in karting for Saturday before the dirt track like we usualy do. Ray needs the extra parking for the Summer Nationals. So if it dose rain out early in the day Ray will lock the gate so no one comes in the track. It's his way to let people that drive there know it's rained out so they keep on going, BUT if the gates stay open and everything is a go we will be partying before / during / and after the show. Just thought I would let everyone know to call the track if things look so/so before you come down.
