Bus Trip For The World 100

Candy I would to say Thank You for all your support! With out the race fans the trips would not take place. This trip will be just as good as the last three. We are full this time, so everyone wont get a seat to themselves and space might a little limited but otherwise everything else is set. The door prizes are ready and so are we!

I almost forgot to tell everyone; it was confirmed by Ted the owner of Godfrey Tours & Charters that Ed will be our driver this weekend. Yey Ed!

what do you mean that everyone will not get a seat to themselves..
 
i think they mean you won't get the "two seats" that are together on the bus all to yourself. You will only have your own seat.

Correct Jimmy. On previous trips several people were able to spread out over two seats, on this trip each person will only get one seat.
 
You are correct JD this is the first sold out bus so in the past we each had a little more room to spread out.

Have fun on the BUS everyone..i went on the bus back in june for the dream and i had a blast all weekend up there..Danny and everyone make the trip FUN!!!!
 
I heard the bus had a blow out on I70 this morning!! My brother, who is on the trip said everyone was okay and they were waiting on a repair truck around 10:30 am, but can't get a hold of him now!

Does anyone else know anything??
 
I don't know about anyone else but I had a great time best trip so far lets see if we can do better at the Dream 09 :rolleyes:

Also remember if you get your deposit in by December you get the 2008 prices. The bus is going to go up with gas prices the way they are, but Candy and I decided to give everyone a break if they book early. The 2008 price was $225 per person. If you wait until the new bus contract is signed in January you will have to pay the 2009 price.

An added bonus for 2009; everyone going on the bus will get an event shirt FREE (Dream trip = Dream Shirt, World 100 trip = World 100 t-shirt)!

We have made a deal with the IRS (Independent Racing Series) souvenir trailer located in turn four to supply an event shirt for everyone on the bus. So when making your reservation please make sure you specify your shirt size (no matter the size, they can get the shirt).

Now for the poll……Did you like Subway or the BBQ better? We are trying to do things that make it best for everyone involved. This trip we all did Subway, on previous trips we did a BBQ. We are considering doing snacks on Saturday set up at the track by the bus, with chips, dips, etc... So let us know what you think: Subway (on the way to the track)......BBQ (at the hotel)......Snacks (at the track). Your vote does count!
 
Another great time. The weather was perfect Saturday for the race. Not too hot - not too cold and definitely not a mud hole.

The people on the bus were awsome. There were several repeats, but quite a few new ones. Always great to get to know race fans.

What a partying group! On the way back to the hotel Saturday night after the races was a blast!

I vote for BBQ at the hotel as a pre-race show. The tables and chairs under the canopy at the track was nice too and maybe could still do that.

Watch out when posting the pics that there are not any X-Rated ones.

That would have been 40 DWI's If they drove up ther on there own. There's not any x-Rated ones (I hope) Everyone was great, The cops even came by to make shure and they also said we had a good thing going keeping Tammy and her gang of nutty drunk buddys in line. I can start a list of people to thank on the trip but EVERYONE helped out one way or the other and you can't ask for a better bunch of people. THANKS TO ALL for your support and going to Eldora with us. See ya all at Pevely. I will have some photo's of the trip there also. Boy the storys I could tell you about the trip but "WHAT GO's ON IN ELDORA STAYS IN ELDORA"
