I am a fan that attends Fredericktown and Farmington on a regular basis, so i have the pleasure of watching some VERY takented Modified drivers. Billy is one of them ! He always, yes always, gives every race 100%. He is a clean driver so that makes him a crowd favorite at both tracks. Who cares who is better than who ???????? Even the best have bad nights. So Billy, do NOT allow trash talk to interfere with your game plan. Continue to charge as hard as you can and WHEREVER you finish, HOLD YOU HEAD UP HIGH !!!!!!! See ya Friday :D LeaDonna
 
Yall Got What U Wanted. Billy And Weber Raced Against Each Other Tuesday Night At Farmington. Billy Was Winning The Feature For About Half Of The Race Until Kenny S. Passed Him On The Last Lap. And Yes Weber Did Spin Out. Probally Because He Just Choked Or Something. I Guess He Was So Embarrassed That He Spun Out That He Figured That He Would Just Get Off The Track While He Could. So It Took A Nascar Driver To Beat Billy At Farmington On Hoosiers. Rusty Griffaw Got 3rd Which He Is 2nd In The National Points. So I Guess My Case Is To Rest On Who Is The Best.
 
Billy led about 3 laps. Bittle led about 20 laps, broke and pulled off. Billy then took the lead and led three laps before Schrader won. Weber spun when he passed Griffaw and Labaube for second place and was chasing down Bittle. He had a flat tire. Scott probably would have won had than not happened. I have nothing against Billy, infact I'm a fan and wanted him to win it there at the end, but get your story straight. I believe this is weber's third time down there for the UMP show, and I think it's the first one he's lost. Could be wrong about that though.
 
I am getting tired of everyone thinking that Billy isn't as good as Weber or some of those other guys from Pevely. After Weber spun, Billy was gaining on Bittle and I think there was a good chance he would have gotten around him. You never know! Anyway, Billy is one heck of a driver and give him a little time on UMP tires and he'll be there with the BIG BOYS every week. If he had a good tire sponsor right now, he would probably be running UMP every week.
 
Did I say Weber was better. I do think that he was the one to beat before he spun. Go another night and Billy will be better. He did great and almost came away with a big victory. I would love for him to run more at I-55.
 
You people need to get your head examined. Your last names are not Weber, so why are you worrying about it? It is comments like the ones above that are absolutely ridiculous.

Scott could not continue in the race due to the right front tie rod was crushed and the car would not turn; otherwise he would have went to the back and continued. It's not a big deal, stuff happens!
 
Billy just needs a few more sponsors to step up to the plate and help him pay for aluminum heads for his car; the other major difference between IMCA and UMP besides tires. Nice to drive UMP races down on horse power isn't it? He has proved he has the skill, now if a few more business owners would step up to the plate Billy could have a top flight program. :cool:

Education for mod fan.

There are no ump and imca cars.The only difference is tires and aluminum heads.aluminum heads create no more horsepower than steel ones.The only advantage is weight.But,Nearly all of top ump guys run dart blocks.Dart blocks are 50 pounds heavier.No horsepower advantage over stock.Just better oiling and better cooling.Lesson-Most top and several other ump drivers engines weigh the SAME as your imca/sfcr racers.Note if these guys came to fred.the would have to add 50 pounds on front of car and would be 50 pounds heavier than your imca boys.Tires-there is a VERY SLIGHT handling differance.If you good on one youll be good on the other.The oppisite applies also.Ill bet you didnt know that billy smiths motor has more cubic inches than scott webers did you?You cannot compare billy with scott or anyone that is not a sfcr regular.Its not fair or even realistic.You have two top drivers at sfcr.Billy and Brent Thompson.They are the best there and in a class of their own.This is a fact-The top sfcr racers motors would be about average with the I-55 racers motors.Get the cylinder head out of your head.Its internal parts that make the difference.Not steel and aluminum heads.I that what alot of the faster cars at sfcr have.They are not at a diadvantage at all at I-55.I can garantee this.I also know for a fact 2 of the top drivers at sfcr get alot more,and im talking in thousands,alot more sponsor money than probably most of the I-55 racers.At LEAST half.Anyone who read this and didnt know is now smarter than they were 3 minutes ago.Congrats.
 
Hey ACE, you're killing me here. Yes I know Billy's motor has more C.I. I also know that it doesn't matter how many C.I. a motor is to support a bigger motor equals more H.P. argument. Why do four cylinders outrun V8's now? It's all about the internals; and yes aluminum heads do add to making more H.P. than steel heads. Weight+HP=Speed; to break this down for you now, a 300hp engine in a 1200lbs car will be faster than a 300hp motor in a 1400lbs vehicle. This is done is the same automobile and the weight difference is created by adding weight. I wanted to clarify that before you tried to add unnecessary comments to the equation. The UMP tire is also tackier than the IMCA tire period no argument. A UMP car by the rules is supposed to be faster period.

Actually my IQ dropped from a 136 to an 86 after reading your "think I know it all" jabber.
 
Bottom line anyone can be beaten on any given night.. Get over the bickering... :rolleyes: And quit comparing drivers it will make you nuts.
