Can you believe it!!!

Ok....Then what the hell was said that was offensive to him? I still have no clue! Can someone give me an ANSWER??? None of my posts are offensive to the promoter. You can go back and read all my posts.

your asking the wrong guy ask Terry I'm sure he will tell what ruffled his feathers then you can decide what you will do to make it better... It must been somewhat bad because I have seen Terry get chewed on where he has no Azz left and never seemed to get upset or hatefull with that person???? so bud man make the call and see if you can bury the hatchet with Terry...

this is my opinion????

Well maybe if he gets on here and reads them, then maybe "he" will get on here and respond to your question...dought it though....and to you that said he if you don't pay to get in and then voice your opinion on here you would kick them out too...hmm...oh well...all from this they will lose customers....please believe that...without a dought they will...and to the promoter if you can't handle opinions then this site is wrong for you because this is what we do on here...eveyone of us...and some will like it and some won't....that is called "opinions"....J/M/O;)

Dragging this personal spat into a public forum won't get anything solved. This is something that would be better off solved in private. Now that both sides have a bad taste in their mouth, it will be much more difficult to overcome.

Im not draggin anyone into this. I was just posting this for people to read. I have no control on whoever gets involved. And Millsey I was the guy that was helping hook up guys and was doing the white line. And since I get in on a pass why would I bad mouth a place where I dont pay to get in? Doesnt make since does it?

Fish, all I can tell you is what I'm told. You've been around Terry long enough to know he doesn't fly off the handle very easy. Why don't you go down to the track and just talk with him about the whole deal. You guys both have the best interest of it all at heart and I'm sure you could work it out.

This is where the freedom of speech thing and the rights of a business owner gets muddied. In my opinion, a person should have the right to say what they think about a track, track operations and such without penalty. A person's right to free speech is a constitutional right. Yes, a business owner has the right to refuse service to a person for various reasons, but such reason can not be in violation of that persons constitutional rights (color, handicap, religion or opinion). If the track owner feels that the things said about the track are untrue and harmful to business, he can file a slander suit in court and sue for damages. Slander, however, is extremely hard to prove. On the other hand, the fan could easily say he was discriminated against by the track owner (on terms of his freedom of speech), and countersue. So, the way I see it, both parties have three choices:

1. Be anal about it and sue each other.

2. Look at everything in the big light and realize it's just an opinion, it's his right, and that it probably isn't hurting business the slightest bit.

3. The fan can decide to patronize another track.

The most desirable situation, naturally, is number two.

Whose to say there hasn't been a misunderstanding? maybe Terry got mixed up on who is who on here. it's possible. i dunno.. What about que pasa was he thrown out as well?? this all could be just a huge mix up.

first Terry can't log in something wrong with his comp.. 2 I agree with doug settle this outside of the forum (that was the point I was trying to pass along)
3 Like Millsey say's Terry is to easy going to get upset over little things....

k&h let look at it in this veiw lets say you are a car owner/ driver you have a pit man you pay his way into the races everynight....after every race he would get on here and say how bad you drive how a 6 year could drive better and that you should leave your piece of crap car on the trailer... what would you do to your pit man ???/ this is just a made up senerio but really think about it what would you do I know what I would do :D

hehhehe terry know who Q-pasta is :D :D :D

If it boiled down to Terry taking away his free ride, then why was he told to leave? Why didn't Terry tell him he had to pay from now on? Sounds to me like he was told to leave as in "not welcome" and this "free pass" excuse is an attempt to save face. I started going to Belleville again when the crap started again at Frednecktown. I must admit, it was a good decision!

Sience has taught us that to every action there is a equal reaction.....

Oh and to answer you original question:
yes this is a message board to post opinions
perhaps this is a learning experience for all of us
mind what we say
we dont know who is reading
how they may react
and by the way i would do the same if it were my place
"the right to refuse service" says it all

I just got in after a very long very hard days work.....
just to find that this post
is still being dragged through the mud....
not that i mind....it made me laugh and i needed one.....
and i didnt even know you was gettin in for FREE....
if T.nie's "hand that feeds you" and Smurfblue3's "rules #1 - #4" hasnt gotten this stuff through to ya yet.....
let me refer to page one in whick i quoted the above.....
and that was three pages ago.....LMAO

oh yeah by the way
SMURFBLUE3......

Hey loudmouth how ya doing... next time where up there in MCS I'll have to come by and say HI I was driving Millsey's Black 75 ministock... got a couple of questions for ya... by the looks of our schedule we will be back there sep 11 (9-11) will you guys be doing anything special that night...? also not a gripe but was the speaker turned off in the pitts? I couldn't here anything after the races started...
by the way that is a way cool track up there....

i wasnt gonna get in this post anymore but i gotta touch base on what ya said smurf...truthfully anybody in here if they had the pitman you are talking about that is running on here and talkin about you,i would surely stop to think why my pitman would be saying these things and better my program and driving skills..then id probably tell him where to stick it..yes..but if terry treated me the way he has budman i would surely tell him what he could do just the same... if this terry was taking the free ride away and budman was still allowed to buy his way in then why did he leave????im sure if he was able to pay to get in he would have done that, but he didnt so i think there is more to that end of the story....and as i said before the problem with tnies saying about ''the hand that feeds you'' is that the ''fans feed the promotor'',and the ''promoter feeds the fans''....only thing gonna solve this is you guys talk about it,get to the bottom of it,or take your business elswhere and learn from it..i dont think there is one person at falt here,i think it is both of you,but the promotor more so because it should have been in a more professional manner...good day!

Rights? You got no stinkin' rights!

What got posted? Round up the posts and let the forum read them. BTW, this may be a free country and you do have the right to post what you want. BUT, this is not a government website, so the website owners and moderators can delete your content. And if you are smackin' a track owner/promoter around they can refuse to let you on their property. Doesn't matter if you are right or wrong in your posts-opinions. I would take my money elsewhere.

you can click on Bud Man's name and it will give you the option to read all posts. There was nothing that I could find that was remotely wrong. But I could be wrong.

Doe Run might do that but there would have to be a good car count. There was supposed to be a lot of guys in the modifieds and sportsman come to Doe Run this last Friday but they backed out.
The only problem I see with this is that the track even though lengthened, is still too small to provide GOOD racing in the mod, and sportsman classes. It may look good with a few of them out there running with plenty of room, but turn 10-15 of em ' loose and you will see one long freight train. Passing will be rare, and the attrition rate will be enormous. Thats just the fact with small short tracks. BUT seeing that the end of the year is fast approaching, maybe, just maybe Bob will lengthen the track just a little more, and provide more area to run on..

I'll reiterate.....a business owner has the right to refuse service to anyone, as long as the reason does not violate to that person's rights. To refuse someone into the track on grounds of something he said on a message board is discrimination based on opinion, and sets up the track owner for a civil lawsuit. And people don't look kindly on businesses that practice discrimination at any level.
