Caution question

"Courtesy laps will only be given until lineup is correct. 2 minutes will be given for a flat during the first lap of the feature race only. It is the drivers responsibility to notify track officials they needed courtesy laps.

Once a race has completed one (1) full lap of a caution occurs, restart will single file starting at the cone. If a car goes to inside of, or hits the cone a caution will occur and the car will go to the rear of the field. If this happens a second time by the same car it will result in a black flag.

ALL RULES ARE ENFORCED BY TRACK OFFICIALS AND ARE FINAL AND WILL NOT BE CHANGED BY PROMOTER!!!!"

This was taken out of the general rules section of the rules section of the sfcr website.

When we race up there I am usually in the stands with my two kids. I usually sit on the side where the cars come on the track by the pits. As you walk the through the entrance go to the left and go as far as you can go and I sit there or just about anywhere there is a spot to sit. Not real picky. Like to be able to see Lou though. He pits in the center. Guess I'll be seeing you sometime before the season is done.

People have been insinuating that the pill draw is rigged. I don't beleive so! All you got to do is watch how they are doing it. I can't think of a more fair way.

I don't know how it could be rigged either. You stick your hand in a box and pull out a chip. It's that simple. Luck of the draw. Some are just luckier than others.

You Know, if someone would find the black flag and use it, the cautions would be cut down and the fans could actually enjoy the show.

Yvonne, I hate to see you and Lou leave and you know you guys are not the only ones who have left or are leaving (one of them I promise not to miss lol) I am gonna miss you guys have to come to Pevely and see you.

Dirtygirl, it plainly states in the rules that there is not working on the track except open red flag conditions. The red flag was NOT open and this sprint driver went off the track under the red flag, changed his tire and returned to the track and finished the race. It was very unfair to the rest of the drivers and he should have been black flaged but he wasn't. Does that help you with the whole thing?

Isn't it funny how not one person can answer this question?

You can change your tire during a red,or yellow,if time is allowed, but cannot work on the car,in the sprints, they have to park in the work area, thats what we was told Sat. nite

so was everyone told that or just a few who were picked to be told that? Is this "new rule" for all classes or just sprints?

Heck if I know,I just know some people went to Corey and he told them that, since we arent racing our sprint this year,it doesnt pertain to us.

As far as Farmington goes, it all depends on who you are and who you know when it comes to which rules apply to you and which don't. I know of a couple modified drivers who are leaving Farmington, mainly because of the favortism that is obviously displayed from week to week there.

Joey Montgomery is a good driver,as is MOST of the others as well. Some just don't like him and Tim to win most of the time( and they do ) BUT... They're good drivers. I would love to see Jason win as much as they do, and some day that is going to happen. If you watch close enough you can see who is watching out for the others and who just wants to get to the front. Doesn't take a rocket sciencist to figure that one out! Jason is just having a bad year...It's gonna get better next year. Good-Luck to them all the rest of the season, and be SAFE..........

Didn't anyone notice that a modified also got to change his tire during red flag conditions in the feature?

I agree though...more black flags...but then you just have people griping about how everyone gets blackflagged and the flagmen get death threats and all that crap. People just need to chill out....IT'S A HOBBY

One did get to change his tire IT WAS THE FIRST LAP!

Two of the flagmen I happen to like very much. Yeah it is a hobby but when you can go to one track and not get tore up at all and then go back to another and your car body gets demolished then there's a problem. We don't race to always have stuff tore up and anyone racing will tell you that especially if they are paying for it out of their own pockets. There are just idiots out there who can't race.

unfortunately I do now

forster fan dont you know that certain rules apply to certain people expecially when it comes to the sprints.

You know I have never really payed a whole lot of attention to it but I have heard alot of people complaining about it so the last few times that I have been at the track I have payed really close attention to it, I just think it is a bunch of crap that the "rule book" has been changed on the drop of a dime for one driver. I think it is kinda funny that it had been changed only after the incident happened, Duh like no one would notice.

About the modified who also changed a flat there was not a lap down so he had the right to change his tire.

The sprint was in the middle of the race under a closed red.

I Think They Should Stick To The Rules More Better!! But That Is My Opinion.97 Gets Away With To Much Out There..is He Going To Have To Kill Someone Or Injuire Them Very Bad Before Something Is Done..what Is The Meaning Of A Black Flag!!! 97 Sprint Drives That Car Like A Jet, Taking Out Anything In His Way,but That Is His Way Of Winning Everytime

I know that he is not the only one who does the famous "slide jobs" however he is the only one who takes everyone out in the process of doing them and I hate to watch the races that he is in because I don't want to watch someone get hurt. It is going to happen it is just a matter of time, but nothing is going to be done about it until someone does get hurt, may not happen then to many people defending him.

Don't You Wish You Could Just Have A Sprint Car To Drive. How Many Races Has Tommy Won? He Must Not Be That Bad Of A Driver. In The Sprints They Run The Same Rules Like The Outlaws You Can Come In And Change A Tire On A Red Or Yellow. Quit Your Whinning He Didn't Win The Feature But Did Come From 17th To 9th Pretty Good I Think For Being Such A Bad Driver In Your Eyes.
