Constructive Criticism for Ray Marler

I believe that a race isn't started until 1 full lap has been scored, if no laps were scored the race officially didn't start. Not sure all the particulars that happened Saturday night but that is my understanding of the rule.

You're complete correctly, trashdog....that's the way it's been in the 20 years I've been going (since I was 7). If one complete lap isn't scored, it's a total restart. Now, how can a race be started if they haven't completed a lap???? Oh, and the spin was coming to the green....officially, the caution flew before the whole field even took it....several cars had stopped BEFORE the start/finish line. I know, because I sit 30 FEET before it, and cars were sitting on the track farther from start/finish than me.

so what you are saying is if the gas pedal is down the race starts! Now that is a whole new stupid theory i have not heard of yet. So that is like saying if you pass someoone BEFORE the race starts during the parade laps you get to keep that spot because in your theory the race has started you use your pedal to do parade laps so the race has technically started how retarded are you to even type that idiotic theort anyway. I thought i heard all the stupid remarks i could on here and bam before you know it another one pops up. As scot weber would put it WOW!

someone correct me if i am wrong but i dont think half the field had even got to the start/finish line to even start the damn race anyways

well no half the field was piled up before the line they couldnt have passed it. But in theory they used the gas pedal to get there so it started LOL

LOL.....I like that one Pitdrifter. I love just logging on here and reading this funny a s s stuff. I agree with everyone in this post except for the one who started it and beeeeeeeeeeeeeee.........I guess when you are a bleacher racer you know all the rules. Come on down to a drivers meeting and hear what the have to say. Ask the question that is in doubt in your eyes. And you will get proved wrong by the officials and 99% of the racers. Be cause like everyone has said a race has not be completely started till 1 lap has been completed. So keep arguing because you will not win this one.

Bee0001, If you were a racecar driver you would think totally different. Most people like the fact that if the race is red flagged you can work on the car or bring out a back up. And yes the race isnt started until 1 lap is completley done, thats why when there is a caution at the start of race and 1 lap hasnt been done they usally will do a complete restart side by side. If you dont like the rules at Pevely maybe you should go somewhere else where they only do 3 or 4 hotlaps.

I-55 STAY THE WAY YOU ARE AND I WILL KEEP COMING WEEK AFTER WEEK. Too much nagativity on here is getting old.Be happy you are watching some of the best in the nation and if you dont like how its run, then go somewhere else....Every track does have issues dont they????

I couldn't of said it any better myself upsmanluvracin! If you dont like it go to some other track and find out what they do wrong. I wish I had a dollar for everbody that complains about a track on here I would be rich. As far as replacing them I have an idea lets have all the complainers be officials for one night they would be lost after 15 minutes. Which flag to I wave to start the race.

question that no one will answer if you get rid of allied who will replace them

GOOD QUESTION HOUND! ALSO OBVIOUSLY A TOUGH ONE FOR SOME.

I'VE HAD MY BEEFS WITH ALLIED FROM TIME TO TIME. ALLIED MAY NOT BE PERFECT. BUT, THEY'RE D@MN SURE NO WORSE THAN THE OTHERS IN THE AREA. IF YA' THINK SO, GO WATCH THE OTHERS. NOBODY PUTS A GUN TO ANYONE'S HEAD AND FORCES THEM TO GO TO AN ALLIED SHOW!

Will Have To Agree About The Hornets Hot Lapping,i Was Personally Watching The Track Was Smooth And Slick After All Other Classes Hot Lapped, then The Hornets Rutted It Up Bad!would Have Been A Good Surface If Not For Them!

didnt see anything wrong with clay bringing out the back up at all.
the race hadnt started so why not?........
there is one thing that has been rumbleing thru my small mind for a few weeks now tho...
what happened to the deal when the white flag is taken, then a yellow comes out,
the race is over????
seen a few instances lately where a race is restarted after the white is taken for a green , white , checkers.
did something change and i not get the memo?

Yeah i dont c a problem with bringin out the backup..but i have a question...did he get his spot back or go to the tail...that makes all the difference right there.

Yes, dirty 1, the 4-cyl cars rutted the track up--not the rain, not the 30 some odd LMs, 45 LMs, or the nearly 30 sportsman; no, it was the--by far--LOWEST HP class with their, what, 6 or 7 inch wide STREET tires that chewed up the track. How can THEY possibly chew up the track?
