You're complete correctly, trashdog....that's the way it's been in the 20 years I've been going (since I was 7). If one complete lap isn't scored, it's a total restart. Now, how can a race be started if they haven't completed a lap???? Oh, and the spin was coming to the green....officially, the caution flew before the whole field even took it....several cars had stopped BEFORE the start/finish line. I know, because I sit 30 FEET before it, and cars were sitting on the track farther from start/finish than me.
