CuRiOuS!!!

I've watched Brent race at quite a few race tracks and he's always raced clean. Only the drivers know exactly what happened on the track, not us. I'm not going to get into a bashing session because I'm not like that. In fact, there are times that I've watched Brent race at I-55 and wish he would push the car a little harder.
 
Wait A Minute !!!

Since Terry has raised the payouts to the drivers there has been alot of great drivers that have decided to run at The Rock. With the bigger payout you have some of the best cars on the track, which means they are all pushing their cars to the fullest extent that they can. We as fans are VERY lucky to be seeing the " best of the best" race cars everyweek at Fredericktown. Brent is no different than anyone else, he is there to win ! Do i think Brent drove different this week, YES. He has to step it up a notch with the compitition he has. Do i think he drove dirty, NOOOOOO. These guys are racing for the best pay they are offered in this area so you better believe they are all driving their hardest !!!!!!!!!! LeaDonna :)

from what i seen brent tried 2 or 3 times to knock kasey out of they way and didnt suceed....after 1 of the cautions i seen kasey waving his hands cause brent was beating the crap outta him...finally goin into turn 1 brent bumps kasey out of the way...i guess brent was good enough to get around him so he had to go through him!!!!
 
Have you noticed though the same name has appeared on a couple of different boards that involved rough driving and it wasn't Brent Thompson.
 
As far as I am concerned, Leadonna is right... These guys are racing for bigger payouts and that can mean more aggressiveness. Being aggressive isn't a bad thing - it makes watching them way more exciting! As far as Brent, I think he is having a really good year so far. Brent is a nice guy and is always pretty clean.

So he is being more aggressive than usual...good for him if it gets him the checkered flag. That is what it takes in racing. I definately don't see where you would call his performance Friday as being dirty driving.

Does have a point. But, keep in mind....... there is a BIGGGG difference between driving aggressivly than just tearing everyone cars up ! As i have posted before, it is shocking how much money these guys have invested in their race cars. I is an idiot that actually goes out there with intentions to tear their cars and someone elses cars up !!!!!! It costs to much money !!! Folk, exciting racing is what it is all about and i have seen some races at Fredericktown where people are on the edge of their seats on the finish. SOOOOOOO i say, THANK YOU to the men that can afford to race and give all of us that entertainment for the evening..... LeaDonna :)
 
Trust me, I have seen the difference between aggressiveness and out and out tearing the hell out of another driver's car. My husband loses quite a bit of sheet metal & paint & too many bumpers to count due to that! I just don't think Brent was being anything more than aggressive. There are guys out there that don't belong in their cars anymore than my 8 year old son that deserve the label being given to Brent! Lots of money, loads of hard work, and plenty of sweat goes into putting on the great shows we as fans get to watch every weekend so if they occasionally get a little aggressive (or alot), give them a break!
 
I Didn't See Any Of The Incidents In Question With Brent, I Was In The Pit Area During The Mod Races. But, I Have Seen Brent Race A Lot Over The Years And This Doesn't Sound Like The Brent I've Seen Before. From What I Have Seen Of Him, I Would Not Classify Him A Dirty Driver. I Would Rather Assume Brent Was A Little Off Friday Night. As A Matter Of Fact, This Is The First Post I Think I've Ever Seen On This Web-site, Where Brent Was Being Discussed In A Negetive Light. Give Him A Break, A New Race Night Is Soon Upon Us!!!!!

What I'm saying JJ is that when one name keeps popping up time and time again you should keep a closer eye on that person.
 
was there any reason to give kenny kennedy the black flag?? from what it looked like was that worley got sideways infront of kenny and kenny had no where to go...it just looked a racin incident to me...
 
if i recall mikey francis was on the pole at farmington two weekends ago and kennedy was also and they went green and kennedy got squirly in front of mikey and mikey had nowhere to go and hit and spun kennedy out. mikey got black flagged. what the hell is up with that? sounds to me like kennedy needs to learn how to keep it straight when theyre getting ready to go green.
 
by the way i'm not saying brent is a dirty driver. i just thought the move he made on kasey could've been a different move. he didn't have to bang kasey out of the way, but really that's part of racing. beatn and banging happens, but sometimes it's unecessary. oh and i'm not knocking kennedy niether, he's a really cool guy. but from what i seen two weekends ago it was kennedy's fault that mikey got the black flag. but once again that's racing! i'm ready for this weekend! oughta be some big names at farmington!!!!!!
 
how exciting would racing be if they went on the track and drove in a circle and left the track in the same spot they started in? I'm thinking it would not be very fun. sh*t happens and that is a part of racing. these drivers know what risk they are taking when they drive the car on the track.
