DuQuoin Sept 5th and 6th????

There will probably be a couple of Nascar drivers for the USAC race as well, Tracy Hines(truck series) and Boston Reid(will make his Busch debut later in the year with Rick Hendrick). Not sure on Yeley's schedule. The Zarounian trailer that was seen sitting the parking lot last night at Tri-City is a former Kasey Kahne ride, now piloted by Bud Kaeding. Kahne also has his own car driven by Tyler Walker(part time Busch driver for the #38 Great Clips car) at some events. The ARCA race may have a couple of Nextel drivers, but the Silver Crown race will probably have more drivers headed to Nascar.

I had a blast durring the first half of last years silver crown race. The 2nd half however i was overcome by some unknown birthday illness. I had a hard time standing, my eyes became squinty, the cars started going way to fast, my speech began to slur, i had to have help walking to the car. Then i spent the rest of the night praying to my toilet. Lets hope it dont strike again this year lol.

I know what happened to you Hairy because I beleive you told me! But I wont say anything! why didnt u go last ngiht? You missed an awesome race!

Spending the evening watching Hairy was worth the price of admission alone!! :D :D :D WOOO WOOOOO!!!!!!!! You ready to do it again Jr???

I will be at the arca race for sure. Ill most likely do both tho. But i wont be repeating last years performance lol.

Definitely the USAC show, but for the price might as well see both. Been going for over 20 yrs last year usac night show best nice breezy cool excellent lighting fast smooth track What more could you want oh yea , in the stands I rthink they have nice cold beer..

Hey, I also want to know if the Steel Block Late Models are running with the Trucks. I could almost guarantee 10 from Mt. Vernon and since the tri city guys are steel block and paducah is I think we could have 25 or so hAD 19 last year

I am not for sure Groove Grabber, I was talking to Brad Whithenshaw who owns heartland ford, and he was trying to find out if they were running steal blocks, because if they were he was gonna run his and if they weren't then he was gonna try to get a modified to run! So I am not for sure I'll see if i can find out!

Shane,
I just found out they are running the Whnn Sportsman with the Trucks so i guess not! That really ****s I would much rather see the Lates than sportsman, who wouldnt! Oh well, I guess they figured they wouldn't get enough cars I dunno!

I thought that they said it was goin to be sportsman last year too, but it ended up being steel blocks i think. You could try calling the fair grounds, they may know.

Up around Springfield, where the promoter is from, aren't the Wynn's Sportsmen really like a steel block late model?

Like Hairy said, they called them Sportsman last year also. As a-matter-o-fact I remember an actual Sportsman car being there last year & he was a little out classed.

I got an email back from Track Enterprises that said it's called Wynn's Sportsman because of the sponsor but they are actually Steel Block Late Models just like last year.
