Ed Dixon Die-Cast Late MOdel

check it out!

i already bought one now, got one off ebay for $56.45 that's shipping included. pretty good deal for a replica car of a late model hall of fame member!

I want one with the right rear all smashed in from wall banging!!! Now that's the Hall of Fame car I want LOL!!!!

Actually the car looks GREAT!!!! And Congrats Eddie on your induction....

yeah if ya shop around ya can prolly find one cheap. i wasn't thrilled about paying 60.00 for mine. i actually don't think there worth 50.00. i mean yeah theyre very detailed and nice looking but that's alot of money for a die-cast car. but ah well....may be worth something someday.

[BWHAT[/B]  !!!!Only $60.00 what the Hell what did you want them for $40.00. You know some day they may be worth alot of money. You know every one else sells their for $60.00, so why can't Dixon?? I would get mine while they have them becouse they will be going like hotcakes soon. How many other people have their own Diecast out. Just like Revin Kevin Gundeker (sp???). You know he was to have one done a few years ago they were talking. So whare are the Gundeker ones?? I got my diecast signed at the hall of fame. And Ed will carry them with him to the tracks that he races at..

Godd Luck Special Ed from one of your #1 fans and Congrats on the Hall of Fame.. :D :)

Retail on them are $54.95 (check the ADC site). Some dealers are allowed to offer them for no less than $49.95. That is the absolute cheapest they are allowed to sell any ADC car in the 1008 production line. ADC controls all of the prices and will pull a dealer's right to sell ADC cars. They can price them cheaper on ebay on a starting bid, but the car must meet or exceed the retail price.

If you look out in the world of junkables (items considered collectibles with limited editions of 5-10,000 pieces), these are truly low limited edition productions. I am not sure if they will be worth a ton of money or not. I think some will reach a good price in the future and some you will be lucky to get your money back out of them. I personally don't care if they go up in value. ADC has blown Action completely out of the water with an awesome detailed and well painted late model. ADC also offers local drivers to have their cars made too ( tampo or decal). Since they are making low numbers of each car, produce a top quality product and make many choices of drivers, then $50-60 is a steal to me. Compare these to the manufactured off the shelf ERTL cars that sell for $30 bucks at your toy stores or the extreme prices for some NASCAR 1/24 cars. These are truly unique and only a handful of fans will actually own them.
Dealers and drivers are not making much profit off of them. I beleive they are paying around $36.00 per car plus a shipping cost. Not much profit for them at all. Buy them because you like them. If they go up in value, then that is an extra special bonus.
