engine rules for outlaw class @ JYI

I think larry is correct if you have 2 motors to run different tracks.

what i see is the 2 cycles on a track that they can really open them up cant be beat now at bedrock is different you have to lift more

baur has such a good setup for bedrock that is why he is so good:)

i have seen good setup beat hp more times my son zach in the jr2 in 2005 with a motor that was shot and beat everone

all the reason for building a ohv 4 stroke.. seems they make good torque like the flatheads and really strong top end like the smokers. anyway, should be starting something soon to the rules posted above. could someone take a bike engine and not use the transmission?

You can run one in the UAS races but I don't think it would be allowed at the Coulterville or Bedrock.

The UAS guys use a 2 stroke liquid cooled Honda CR 500 based engine so, i know we couldn't run that do to the liquid cooled part. I was thinking more on the lines of the older air cooled XR 400. Do you know of any people who i could call regarding rules ???

You can check Bedrock's rules on the website.

www.bedrockraceway.com or call Frank 618-830-0802

I don't have any idea about JYI. I think they've got a website too but don't know for sure.

I hope you build the OHV....love to see one run up close.

max cc for a 2 stroke is 210 per uas rules there are no 500cc 2 strokes in the uas. the uas is for open's

Iam trying to get a kart 2gether to run JYI Open Class. Last week they had 6 karts. 3 were 2stroke, and 3 were 4stroke. Iam pretty sure the 4strokes karts were 1-2-3 in the main. Iam talking to a guy in New York about a UAS Open 2stoke kart, and i also got a offer from Dixion50 so iam gonna call him 2day. I would really like to do a KT-100 after watching Road Racing Karts in New Castle,Indiana this year.

And JYI is a RWYB track, but nothing that has a tranny i believe.

1 cylinder, 2 or 4 stroke, no duels, 4cycle must be no larger than a 10 hp. block. and yes a 4 stroke won last sat first time in over a year that a 4 stroke has won a main. a yami wont make enough power to compete but if you like i have about 5 yamis for sale if you would like to try it.

racing out law

ok here we go road ditch won on 5-3-8. and the way i see it it looks like mother nature has won more race's this year than any engine.:D:D:D:D:D well you might be right , not sure just what engine she has a smoker or a thumper

What track was you on??

Congrats to Ditch!! I am the first to admit,RD is the best in this area @ racing on a wet, rough track, barr none. The fact is,the track was like a corn field, unfortunetly. So,we'll try again.JMO:D
