I've got a question. Is this a Rams project or a Jeff Mills project?
I'm not trying to stir the pot, just looking for a little info. Where is
the money coming from for the above mentioned posters and if this is
indeed a Rams project, was the purchase of these posters approved
by the membership? Was the auction itself approved by the members?
 
RAMS Meeting Results

A very productive RAMS meeting was held at Mid Rivers Bar and Grill in St. Peters we have a set of rules not only for the 2006 racing but the 2007 as well.

Mel Kinnaird presented an early Christmas gift with a $1,050 points fund and issued checks for the top 6 drivers. The checks coming in at Christmas time were most appreciated.

In 2006 MCS season Mel will give the mini stock class at his track a few 50/50 nights for the 2006 point fund as well as a Raffle truck provided by Joe Trendle. The 2006 MCS track point fund for the RAMS mini stocks class could potentially be very big.

Here is how the voting went:

1. Should the RAMS continue with to use the rules that were in effect in 2005? Yes/No 6-17 Failed

2. Should the RAMS adopt the rules that were discussed in the November 6th Meeting? Yes/No 21-2 Passed

3. Should points be awarded only at RAMS SANCTIONED Tracks and or Events? Yes/No 23-0 Passed

4. Should the RAMS have a Rules Freeze for 2 racing seasons. Yes/No 23-0 Passed

Remember to be thinking about good locations for RAMS car shows in St. Charles/Warren County area, St. Francois/Madison County area, Jefferson County as areas further south.

The January meeting will be 2:00PM January 8, 2006 at the Arnold Bowl in Arnold, MO. Issues that need to be discussed will be How points are how points are awarded, length of the season, rookie definition, sponsor auction information.

Duck I completely understood why you guys weren't there, that wasn't what I was saying. All of the items passed have been placed on the RAMS board. What I was referring to was some internal items that don't need to be discussed on the internet. That's why I said he should contact Trashdog. And as far as the "unlimited spending part goes" you know how I feel personally about that because we've discussed it over the phone several times. I feel like there should have been a five year freeze on the rules starting with last year, but the membership voted overwhelmingly to keep the rules as voted on during the previous meeting. The rules freeze will help and there is such an opportunity for growth throughout the region. Your family is a huge part of what has gone on at MCS. I hope things work out for you all. And despite any disagreements there might have been I only want to help you guys in any way I can. When you disagree on something that only means you have two people who care about what is going on and have differing opinions on how to accomplish something. Now the rules are set through the 2007 season and everyone can prepare their vehicles and prepare for the upcoming season.

Bob,
Are you telling me you don't want the sponsorship money? If so all you have to do is say the word and you won't have to worry about it. Then I'll let you explain to the membership how you once again screwed them out of membership money because of your mouth. I'm sure they would love that. The decision is yours. Just call Trashdog at (314) 807-6690 and tell him your decision.

I and alot of other people, who get on here know what your saying. you need to let some of your bad feelings go. i was mad at millsey for taking away the driver seat 25 and some other stuff, but when i found out the reason why, i didn't blame him one bit. fearless bob has alot to do with most of his reasons. bob, which i don't care for anyway and never will:mad:oh well! life goes on! all i'm trying to say is give this administration a chance, and quit the bad talking. if someone you don't like wants to help out the organization let them, then at the end of the season if they didn't show you a differance then bad mouth them if you want.i like you(ron) and the rest of the duck brothers family and friends. i'm not on anyones side, but just want the rams as a whole to suceed. trashdog has alot of good things right around the bend. give it all a chance and things will work out for the better. your friend, "the wolf".;)
 
I would appreciate it if you guys could please remember what was discussed at the December meeting as far as internet etique goes. The auction for the points fund is a RAMS point fund auction.

Mills sent me a PM and said that the RAMS catered to Doe Run last year but they won't have to this year. Sorry Jeffy but Doe Run gave the RAMS members that live this way somewhere to run last year on Fridays. You don't have a problem with Doe Run right? LIAR! But he will say they will have the Rock to race at this year. Who wants to leave a STABLE track for a track that you won't know week to week if it will be open?

Yeah don't argue the points brought up because you know they are true. Here is another true statement: JEFF MILLS IS A CANCER TO ANY ORGANIZATION HE GETS INVOLVED IN. How many memebers have quit because of Jeff's crap? I bet you can't count it on both hands and feet.

Oh and Jeff just in case you forgot the RAMS wasn't supposed to be about a big points fund thing. And what did you do with that money I was supposed to get that first year?
 
Well Mike you didn't qualify for any money, but I'm sure you forgot that. But then the last time I remember you racing you were face-first into a huge tire at I-55. I guess that was my fault too.

I see your memory is about as short as other places on you. I DID qualify. I recieved half of what was sent out in a Jeff Mills press release. Where did the rest go??? Money disappearing during the Jeff Mills Era??? Imagine that!!

And if you are going to take cracks at me then at least get them right. I hit a rut and went SIDEWAYS into that tire not face-first.
