Format for midgets at B-ville?

your defending art but yet you sponsor the classes and racing he's ripping on

I also sponsor And turn wrenches on a fender car, & guess where I'm going Fri. & Sat. night.. Bell-Vegas, Although I don't think the driver is to happy but he'll be alright.LOL Here comes the next slide job.... oh ya

Come on guys. When I started this post all I wanted to know is some info on the race format, not about the politics of BP or anything else! Everybody just let it go. I know there are open wheel fans and fender fans, but why can't we all just get along. There is plenty of racing out there to go around. Personally, I love it all! I look forward to the Daytona 500 as much as I do the Indy 500. It's the same with dirt track/pavement stock cars to dirt track/pavement sprint and midget racing. Show me a good drag race or road course or motorcycle race or even boat racing and I'll enjoy one just as much as the other. Why, because it's all RACING and I love RACING. If you want to foot race I'll race you. So, once again, LET IT GO! BTW, thank you Wanda K. for giving me the info I was looking for. I apologize for not thanking you before this, but it seemed like I couldn't get a word in edgewise!

thanks, brian. well said. i am posting no more on this, but exactly where was i "ripping on" the fri night show? i believe i said it was good racing. and thanks, king; i really do want to try some of your product!!

Ya sorry me too Brian I don't know why I let the hound get me so worked up when he starts barking in the wind. No disrespect calling the dirt cars "fender benders" I also love em just get all worked up sometimes when I'm cranky. :)The good thing is we heve differnt types of racing to argue about.

The show on Sat. will be very interesting. $15 admission, you can't beat that and you'll be on your feet most of the night!!!:D I hope to be there. What else you gonna do on Sat. since I-55 is closed???
go to highland for 15 bucks addmission 2 beers and a hot dog

i don't know about anyone else, but, personally my IQ drops a few points every time the fleabag posts. king eddy started a good thread about hope after all... my personal hope is the mutt actually brings intelligence to a subject, not his constant ramblings that you have to read 6 times to try and figure out what he means. i have seen midgets at duquoin(big track) springfield and indy fairgrounds, and even phoenix, and countlesss others. i wounder how big a track he means when he talks "big track?"
how can your IQ DROP LOWER THAN 1 LOL

The 75th Anniversary of the first Midget race in St. Louis ran in approximately 20 minutes and was FANTASTIC! I hope you were there to see it.

As I like to say, "If you love racing, St. Louis is the place to be!"

actually, the last time midgets ran on the duquoin mile, was in 1984. it was an open competition show, no sanction. steve lotshaw won. (arnie knepper) finished 2nd. the odd part about this day was that dad won the 2nd heat race. i led it for about6 laps, then dad got around me. i finished 2nd, john andretti 3rd. we left the rest of the field. dad loved that race track, and he led a ton of races there, should have won a half a dozen, but something always happened. the only race he ever won there was the one he had to pass me to do it. remember it like it was yesterday. funny how that happens. remembering something that happened 26 years ago, but i can't remember where i leave my car keys half the time... go figure.

I just hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. Folks who spoke to me said they did. Two days of good racing plus all the added attractions.
I always say, I can appreciate a championship efforts no matter if it is stick and ball sports, swimming, running, motor sports (any and all classes) or any other sport. All of those athletes deserve a tip of the hat for their efforts. And sometimes it takes a championship effort to have the patience to listen to others opinions and move on , even when they are opposed to ours. I think Fred's favorite fan thing is to stir the pot. That's OK. He makes us think about what we enjoy and why we enjoy it and then we appreciate it all that much more. Thanks to those who attended the 75th Anniversary Weekend at BV. Wanda

No thank you for having the races. The last 2 times we went to BC to see the Power i wes the best time all season we had going racing. (other than our own) You reminded us there is other forms of racing out there that you can enjoy. It was so refreshing to see other things going on at the track besides just paying your way in and seeing a show. I have allways thought if you entertain the fans with off track things to do before the show you will get them there to tailgate and experince the whole thing. It truly made it more fun. Plus some of the older drivers showing off there cars were smileing ear to ear to be able to get the out. GREAT JOB see you soon.
