Fredericktown Raceway's new "WALL OF FAME"

Fredericktown Raceway is a joke, come one...there's not even anything exciting to watch there. It's all junk that's there.
 
well i'm sure all the imca's prostreets purestreets and mini's will thank you for that little comment jjslideways dont like us don't come and watch but for most of us the ROCk is a fun fast track that we will be racing at in 2004

well when you state it like that it may sound like the rock went crazy but when you look at it in the $$$$ amount it makes perfect sense

latemodel 15 or over $1000 to win every night(I belive)

15 x $60 (if every car brought 2 pit guys)= $900 still not first place money

15x $100 (if every car brought 4 pit guys) $1500 okay first place is payed what about 2cnd to last???

so to cover the other spots the track would have to dig into other classes entry fee to pay for the latemodel payouts..

lete take the RAMS for instince (for 2004 NUMBERS)

15 x $75(almost all mini's have 2 pit crew member) $1125

so then the track has made $175 on this class most of the time they have more than 15......... to make the late models work like this heck we would have to had 30 plus to show up with 4 pit people then we would have to run a b main then about 10 would go home empty handed and vow to never return cause the was to much compition.

You can't win no matter what you do.

We have one track dropping Hobbies and people complaining because there's no entry level class and all they are worried about is the big dawgs.

Then you have Fredericktown Raceway that had to do something and I'm sure wasn't an easy decision. BUT from what I see Terry is committed to the local lower class guys. I'm glad to see the Hobbies/Mods get paid what they should.

For most of us to ever have a chance to race, it ain't going to be going and strapping in a LM or Sprint as much as I would love to. It's going to be one of the others most likely. It's nice to know your track is behind you.

And to add one last thing, I love watching the big dawgs (Sprints & LM) but come on give the other classes some respect. I guarantee we work just as hard on our stuff and take pride in our racing just as much as those guys.

Wow, what an excellent by-product of the late models leaving the Fredericktown Raceway, now we don't have to put up with scum like that....
 
Amen to that Millsey!!!!!! I can't say I liked the decision that was made to get rid of the late models, but I understood fully. With them raising the purse(to a very respectable amount) and opening the rules up a little it will also bring in more cars(smart move, the way I see it). There are more sportsman and modifieds in there area than there are late models. Now with the comment about the cars being junk. You ask how much them ministock guys how much they spend on their "junk". I doubt anyone one of them can say they have spent less than $5000 to make one from scratch. There is no more junk on the track. Back a few years ago you could say some of the cars were junk, but there is no longer any junk on the track in any class. They may not be the fastest cars, but they are exciting to watch beat and bang and have fun out there. I'm sure these guys are having fun, right smurf. Good luck Fredrock in 2004.

Back to the topic. I nominate Don Klien. I believe he won a few championships there back in the day.

you need to slow down just a bit, and remember what racing is all about no matter what class of cars you like, but since you like late models so much, why don't you slide a latemodel up your a** and shut up. go to some other site and show your *** and slide a latemodel out your a**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off, Mr BUTT 8 man, GROW UP, get over it. Yes we all liked watching late models, who wouldn't. Full size cars with monster motors, gives any normal man a woody. But for you to sit on here and just keep harping about it is OLD. Its done over with, if ya dont want to go don't go, nobodys going to miss you. And Second off, Mr. JJ *****whip, Im about tired of the bashing of of all my friends. BIG QUESTION IS WHAT DO YOU DRIVE?????? Could the answer be HUH NOTHING!!!!!!!! One minute your nominating somebody for the wall of fame, and then your bashing him because he drives a modified. Hope you guys aint friends. Most any of these guys have more money in these cars then you will ever make. So before start telling people there race cars are CRAP i think you better think about it. Because we will figure out who you are.
