Fulton going UMP?

mid mo fan--nobody has put any stl racer down, they are all fast and very competative,i used to live in pevely and went to every stl track around,i know everyone that races in the area, and myself a racer since i was 8 know quite a bit...now that i am back home i realized how fast our local guys are.you are right that hobson is fast,he has come to the lake and won once and i think may have won once at fulton this year,i know hobson and wouldnt knock him at all, payne only ran about 7 races at the lake and won like 4 of them and had another won when carl edwards was there but broke, pretty good odds if ya ask me...rayfeild as well is fast, but he didnt get it done either, brian wolfmier as well is fast and either did he.2 seasons ago payne won 20 races at callaway and had a bounty on him for 8 weeks...yes payne can be beaten, everyone has an off night,or mechanical failures...hole point here is that he can win anywhere, any track, anytime, any year!!!!yes alot of poeple dont like him because of his accomplishments and cause he is always winning, that comes with the territory,no different than frankie martin,ed dixon,or scott weber.i will agree that it is hard to come to someones home track and win, there are fast cars all over the state,to settle it lets get them all somewhere and have a race!!!!

Personally I believe alot of cars would have a good shot at that series. Blackburn has more experience with Lakeside (ran 3rd at the Jayhawk) and CMS. Dave Meyer, Bobby Layne, and Tom Charles among others will give everyone a run for their money when you start changing tires and conditions around so frequently. They have the most experience at traveling and different types of cars and tires. If Johnny Allen ran a series like that I'm of the opinion that he would win it hands down (right now). He is the fastest car on the list. Mike Harrison would be tough along with Weber, but I believe if they get on the American Racers that they will be in trouble. The only people I've ever seen excel when switching the tires in that direction are Denny Swartz, Jimmy Owens, and Mike Marlar. In the Hoosier direction I've already listed Clint Bowyer (now driving the 21 Busch car when Harvick can't), Gary Clark, and anyone who ever ran the McCreary 82-8s which are as sticky as the UMP tires.

yep won a race at mcs

was wondering...

what calloway raceway ought to think about is having the rams ministock class once a month on a trial bassis like mcs had this year. you know they are running the new point system like ump. it would give the guys that run up there a track to run on fridays. i'd even bring my car up. give us your thoughts on this subject.... thanks #5 "the wolf" ;)

all the better drivers are on american racers(most of which who will stay on americans),that is fact, the change to hoosiers is being made to bring in more cars from stl and other areas, who will indeed get their tails handed to them,if your too scared then we will come to your territory and show ya how it is done since you have no clue, and i can gaurantee you have no clue what you are talkin about, steve won many late models races weather they were recorded or not.you know the difference between you and me dirthound,i talk and it makes since,i also can back everything i say up,you however make no since and cant back nothing..have a good en!!!!!
lil race in ohio in a couple of weeks BRING IT ON

wolf-get in touch with the owners,i could get you in touch with them,i know they will be running 4cyl cars full schedule next year...

layne-all the guys you mentioned are fast, still gotta go with payne as my pick on winning the series,on american or hoosiers tires either way.he is fast as any name in the country and capable of winning with anyone.he can do anything in a race car..blackburn would be my second pic, weber third..

dirthound--anytime buddy!!!!!!
