hey bleedblue

midget racer, why don't you try going to races every so often instead of running your mouth and sticking your nose into stuff you have NO IDEA about.... Maybe if you did go, you would see that I walk the pit area alot before the races with carrying a camera. I do a lot more than just take pictures. (by the way, I only started taking pictures a few years ago when I couldn't get any pictures from racetracks and decided I'd do it myself). I would have no reason to call him out if I hadn't seen the tire.

Also, I had 25 or more people come up to me at I-55 last night thanking me for bringing this to light. Several drivers told me this tire type has been used by winning cars this season and not found by officials.

Facts vs Assumptions. From Jimmie's 1st post, the driver was in possession of the tire but it wasn't on the car. Illegal or not? So, we're just assuming that the driver was going to use the tire in UMP competition. We apparently dont know that the driver doesn't have plans to go to a race that the tires are legal. Without testing the tire, we're assuming that it was "cheated up".

No driver was in possession of the tire. bleeblue was still in possession of the tire. He was there to make a delivery...

With all of bleeblue's bragging on here of "undetectable" chemicals he uses, I'm sure most every tire he delivers is "cheated up" in some manner.

Any driver getting tires from him (whether "cheated up or not") are putting their reputations at risk...

83vpMod you need a head check
Jimmy is calling attention to a growing problem and you call him a cry baby??

Calling attention to this one person or incident is like calling attention to the horses that are already out of the barn. We all have know and UMP/DirtCar knows there is a problem and they clearly choose not to do anything about it, same with the run away motor issue. So the choice is to race against a stacked deck, cheat-becaues "everybody is doing it," have UMP/DirtCar enforce the rules thouroughly or change the rules. Open it up to all makes of 8x15 tires not just the Hoosier.

Ok, so what is the point here. Bleedblue hasn't tried to hide what he does, so obviously there's nothing to expose there. I'd say that most drivers that are on here know what he does and if they choose to do business with him then they don't seem to be worried about their reputation for doing so. And if someone didn't know that he does what he does, they do now and bleedblue probably picked up some new business from this. Besides, you didn't expose the driver, so no damage done to his reputation from this.

I no most of this is about cheated up tires and im probably fixing to ask a stupid question, but on the first post, jimmy put that it was a wissota tire. what is the differance (non cheated of course) between the tires that ump run and wissota run?

For the most part, there are no differences in Wissota and UMP tires. However, this particular tire is a size that isn't available in the UMP version. It is an inch shorter than is available in UMP and therefore can allow for more stagger.

Structurally the tire is no different. Working with the Wissota guys helped me a ton with the H40 and how to work with that tire. It really is a great tire if you do it right.

Dynamically the shorter tire cordinates much better with the newer chassis on the dirt Wissota runs on. It changes spring rate to have a shorter or longer sidewall, less sidewall creates a situation of less rotating mass, ect ect ect....

Guess I would have to wonder what kind of person I was dealing with who is proud of helping other people cheat. Is he cheating me also???

gotchya!! thanks for the info... and as jimmy said on the stagger, a shorter tire on the left rear will definatly create more stagger...

Start following what some asphalt tracks do on tires. You can practace on any tire, but must purchase new set of tires for qualifying and feature events. In our case hot laps on any tire, only marked and mounted tires at the track on the night of the event can be used for heats and features!!! Makes alot of work for a tire truck, but we would first need a tire truck with tires and 3-4 guys for mounting and unmounting tires. Those tires are checked and marked during the mounting. Yes, this could allow the teams to treat the tires at their pit stalls, but much easier to catch. Also, this would cut down at least 90% of the cheated up tires. IF UMP really cared about the cheating of tires they would be forced to go this route to help control it. Then if they found a tire in question, heavy fines and suspensions could be issued. Simple fixes, but costly for teams and tracks. JMO The asphalt teams don't complain as it is just a part of racing.

mr. dearing, i dont claim to be an expert, but i have gone/seen/ did in my years.... so; i can run my mouth. just because i dont regularly go to tcs and 1-55 like you do, dont mean i dont have knowledge of the sport. you have a definite agenda here(although you claim not), and have taken it upon yourself(so it seems) to be the tire police. you seem to be waaaayy more worried about this than the people that truly should be,but, fine; thats your right... but, last time i checked, i have a right, too. nothing wrong with a some cotroversy, but keep it factual and accurate.

midget racer, i haven't posted one thing here that I didn't see with my own eyes. Your the one trying to call me a "LIAR" about the tire. I can read letters on a sidewall, especially when it is laying right out in the open.

I only call you out about going to races because you are definitely assuming that all I do is carry a camera around and only take pictures while questioning the creditability of what I can saw.

Jimmy......thank you for bringing this to everyones attention. I was threatened to be sued when i posted my comments so ill refrain from expressing anymore than i am right now. But...........there seems to be something brewing....never know what may happen next week at your local tracks

There is alot of talk from people(mod driver's) who are against this practice and in the coming weeks.......you may see something come together. Just saying.

Partner you have been reading to many asphalt racing books.
