This morning Fox 2 News reported that the rain would start around 9pm on Saturday. We are planning on running and hopefully Mother Nature will hold off and let us have some awesome racing action. We will have heaters running in the basement of the grandstand so you can warm up if the weather is cold.

We don't like canceling or waiting til the last minute to cancel or call off racing. However Mother Nature has a mind of her own and does not consult us with her plans. Hopefully she will cooperate tomorrow.

GOOD LUCK! Il be sitn in my recliner watchn duck dynasty recordings with a cold beer! LOL
There's always next week!
Maybe thats why the first week of april was a rule of thumb!!

I agree 100%, start earlier. I would think you may get more cars show up and more fans too, if they thought they could get out of Highland before it gets real cold and the rain may or may not start. I am pretty sure if they announce earlier start times most people would know by tomorrow.

Yeah I agree with the early start! With every track in the area cancelling their race program/play day.... I would guess for a better car count with an early start. It would probably bring non weekly drivers to the track if there was a good chance to beat the precipitation... if there is a high chance of not getting the night in, I could see spoke drivers leaving their cars in the shop in fear of paying for a pit pass then not returning at a later date.. jmo

With the poor weather and the NCAA tourney going on, I think it would be wise financially to postpone the event.

Why not start Early? Just wondering.

I know of two race teams that where there last week from up north that said that they will not be there this week because of the weather. I thank the car count will be way down it just cost to much to drive that far and get rain or snowed out

Let's Go Racing!!!

No one is holding a gun to your head and saying you must go if they don't cancel! It's pretty simple your not the ones that stand to either make or lose money so it's not your decision. If you were there last week your pit pass/ticket will be good for any regular night! If you weren't there your not out any money so quit complaining and trying to ruin it for the rest of us that don't mind taking a chance to race!
