Highland updates

Hey sportsmanfan you must be a kloos lover because he has done that plenty of times and never got sent home, and offficials should be a shame of them selfs for the stuff they let go on tonight. a lot of people left
 
Credibility was lost when the prick was allowed to change his tire and nit go to rear and change tire period bullshit move by kloos
 
Not a kloos fan at all but the slide job was clean even though he basically parked his car in front of Schulte but contact could have been avoided. Schulte took himself out tryin to hit kloos which caused the caution. When Schulte hit kloos under caution wasn't right but no different than you see at any other track on a weekly basis but I don't believe kloos should have been able to change his tire and get his spot back especially with the help of the track crew and the wrecker to change the tire. His crew should have been able to change the tire and he should have went to the back. Jmo
 
Kloos shouldn't of been able to change tire and get his spot back. Even if it wasn't his fault he got a flat tire. Highland doesn't have hot pit. Jmo the first feature was survival lol. Never good when 20 or so start and only six finish!!
 
Highland does do hot pits on occasion. It's the tracks discretion regardless. Over the years I've seen drivers that have been allowed to change tires in cases like this. However having the track help..... That's a new one to me especially since usually the rule is if you take a hot pit you forfeit your spot. Whatever the case, that kind of retaliation is rediculous. Racing is dangerous enough without the intentional driving into people under caution.
 
If there was a hot pit it would have been announced before racing started,never has this happened where no hot pit was there and a driver was allowed to change tire unless he came out with a flat before the race started.Everyone has their own opinion but drivers know what kloos did was not right and some tokd mike they would have done same thing just next time junk his front end then the track cant save his tire doping as....
 
Not to push buttons but I have seen first hand where "hot pit" was not announced but the driver was allowed a tire change on well more than this occasion at highland. However these all were done where the driver pulled into the pits (unlike this instance) and each time that driver went to the tail. So I agree that he should have gone to the tail. The hot pit thing though is too gray. Definitely a fubar situation. Why can't rules be rules. You would think over the years these rules would have been honed a little more but it doesn't seem that way lol.
 
I'm just guessing, but I'm sure they made a special circumstance since the incident happened under yellow. You're all complaining that Kloos was allowed to change a tire, but I can't believe that Schulte wasn't black flagged and parked for the rest of the night (at a minimum).
 
Not saying that Schulte was in the right in what he did but I'm sure there's more to the story of what happened here. I do agree that Schulte should have been black flagged. Not so sure about for the night but definitely for the remainder of that race. Kloos by no means is innocent. I have seen him tear other people's equipment up and just flat drive over people.
 
Mike expected he might have been parked for night kloos shouldnt have won the race and that would have been fine! Kloos ean over daryn kleins car after the heat race at belleville on the topless night after the race was over for no reason nithing happened to his punk as...he has no scruples because he doesnt have any money in that car so it costs him nothing if he tears it up he has raced mike for years he kniws mike wouldnt lift for him.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Everyone knows that Highland doesn't allow racers to change tires and come back out, back in first place and with the help of their wrecker? Really??? Secondly Mike should have been parked for the night.

But my point is this. It's not the racers fault! They didn't make the call. Highland speedway did and that's pathetic and embarrassing!
 
I agree. It's the tracks fault. If any of you were kloos and the track allowed u to continue up front and get the winning check you all would have. And if you guys were Schulte u would have all continued the night and tried to win that nights feature. The real problem here is the track letting too much slide. Not whether or not these 2 guys are clean racers or not.

Now he's a prick because the officials let him change his tire? Mike Schulte wouldn't have done the same thing? The officials gave him the opportunity to use their equipment, time to change the tire, and gave him his spot back. What was he supposed to do? "Oh, sorry, according to your rule book, I can't do this. I'll just park it in the infield." You're after the wrong person.

I've tried to stay civil in this whole argument. Michael works on that car all the time, so for you to say he has nothing invested is completely asinine. I've watched Schulte race this entire year, and half the time it looks as though he has no idea where his car is headed. Pick a line and run it. Not many drivers are going to put up with that...and I'm surprised nothing happened before now.

Keep bringing up the tire doping and beating that dead horse, because no one else cheats. Ever.
 
Just watched the video looks like it was a good race going on then the caution comes out and on the restart mike didn't block the slide line had to know it was coming as far as them changing the tire that's fine but now the have set a precedent so I guess that will have to be standard procedure when that happens again I like both guys bet it would have been a good finish if that yellow wouldn't have come out
 
I think if your thinking about doing that now run over the front end and tear the ball joints out and see if they have time to fix it then!
