How to get started?

I have a complete race ready proven winner 04 Rayburn with 604 I will sell for 12,000 can see pics on MCS website car has all the good pieces and never bent. PM me if interseted.

I am very interested but need to sell some more dragracing stuff and make sure this is the class I want ot run. I have a while until the season starts again.

I might just run in a slow class but dont know what to do. Every track close to me runs a different class all 3 tracks have all different slow classes and different rules. This is ****ing retarted. street stock, pure stock, factory stock, por4 stock, super stock. Where do I buy a car when they are all different? If i choose one then the track drops that class i am ****ed. The 3 closest tracks are MCS, tri-city, and i-55. I am ****ing confused. what do i do?

My advise to you would be go to the nearest track around you and watch and observe. I would even try to help someone first. If you would rather go racing, then I would get a street car first. I have known guys that thought they would like it and didn't. At least this way, you not out a ton of money. I assume you already have a trailer and tow vehicle. you will need spare tires and parts. I used to take a spare trans with me and axles, tie rods,a-arms, spindles, springs, shocks.. you get the idea. Hope this helps and good luck. I still love dirt tracking and the rush you get from it is like no other!

A ump street stock is what I meant. I know there are several classes to choose from, just find which one you feel most suits you.

hey, give me a call on my cell tomorrow. 618-927-4131, I'll give you all the info you need on what its gonna take to run as fast as possible, cheap as possible, thats what I do
