I-55 Raceway AARA Fall Nationals Results!

I kinda think that it was BULLSH!T that russel did not get to keep his lap money the whole bracket that had the 120 some odd pound lead ripped right off the frame!!!! I mean come on they knew when i came off the car H3LL it took three people to get it off the track. I cant believe they did that it came off when there was 8 laps to go russel no longer had the lead when this happened.

Seems to me that 120 lbs. is a little to much for one bracket.

The rules say 2 bolts in each piece. $25 fine for added weight falling off. (He probablely owes some money).

All cars must make weight at the end of the race or they are disqualified and forfeit all winnings.

At least they teched sportsman I thought it was a joke all they checked on bombers was carb. Verry disapointed but other than that the track was awsome.

The 87 car was covered for a reason we work very hard to get are set up.
If everybody wouldn't have been sticking there head under the car then we wouldn't have to cover it up. I guess the ones that had there heads under the car need to do there home work! Why does everyone want to ruin a good run.

Who builds Gary Haynes motors? I know a guy looking for a different engine builder and he probably gained a new customer after last night. I mean that thing had plenty of power on a tacky track even against those big motor highland cars.

Hey Brian I thought about you Saturday as I was going threw my hat collection from Bristol looking for one the wear! I still have the one you bought me just c/n wear it around the daycare I run in the stands   :D Your dad was the bomb dude we were so excited for him and Joanne- Been along time coming and I know you were there more ways than one !!!! Utah ???? At least you can have more than one bride there  J/K Robin Just kiddin :D Honestly Gary was AWESOME !!!!

I have never seen a crew throw a mat over the setup after the race is over, to be honest I have never seen a sportsman covered up at I-55 before the race. It made me think that they were trying to hide something, does anybody know why the car was covered?

Only guy who had the right to be touching or under the car was the tech guy. Want to see whats there put up the protest money!!!

Pit,

From what i am hearing, it sounds like there was something in question on the rear end of the car and the only solution allied could come up with was to cover it up and look the other way. Seems to be a common theme lately.

Where did that motor come from? Nobody wants to give props to the engine builder. I don't get it.

Allied did not cover it up! The car owner covered it up. No one wants to do their homework & drink a few beers like the Gov does. Everyone wants to copy off everyone else!

No, I don't think people went over to another guys car to copy his setup. Nobody was looking at the other cars in tech so I don't think they wanted to steal a setup idea from just one guy.

Who is the car owner? If its Gary Haynes it sure was covered by an Allied official.

PC36, you were the one teching the car (I am assuming you are the head sportsman tech, i believe i have read it on here before), you got a good look at the motor, do you know who's motor it is?

was some great racin!!!! But next year they neded to have transponders! I dont know how many different drivers got screwed by the fact they it seemed like corner guys were aloud to put cars where they wanted. sorry cars are put back in per scorers not cornerman decision i kinda think that it was bullsh!t that russel did not get to keep his lap money the whole bracket that had the 120 some odd pound lead ripped right off the frame!!!! I mean come on they knew when i came off the car h3ll it took three people to get it off the track. I cant believe they did that it came off when there was 8 laps to go russel no longer had the lead when this happened. after race you come up light you are dq'ed no questions asked!!!

and another thing since when are you not aloud to finish the race when the safety caution is called on you because there was a fire under your car? I mean come on you guys are the ones that told him to get outta the car like robbie said next time let it burn. I was under the understanding that when there is a safety caution nobody get penalized. At least that is how i have seen allied do it in years before. caution was called specifically on that car did not hear saftey called on radio

also during the sportsman feature did anyone else see the bright orange fender on the track for at least 6 laps that should be a safety thing!!!was out of racing groove and track crew was well aware of what it was and were it was also your turn 1 and 2 corner man told me (during the roll over in the consi that cummings and the other man get in a terrible wreck) that he could not pull a fender up to keep a tire from rubbing it should be a safety thing!!! I was on the number 32 car i think a allied regular.fenders are always pulled out for guys and it was the 82's i believe and he was wanting to go on the track to do it himself and i believe he snuck out there anyway while the crash was being cleaned up should have been sent to the rear....the 32's fender was pulled away and then another guy asked the corner man to pull dirt outta his drivers right front tire another saftey thing!!!! mud has never nor will be cleaned out of anyones wheels but during the feature i noticed that same corner man under gary haynes car for over two minutes looking like his head was somewhere under the middle of the car on the drivers side. Now was that a safety matter or just showing favortism??? Which one is it please do tell???was no favoritism gary asked if he was leaking oil due to bottoming out on other end and didn't want to risk blowing motor

and also to the talker guy. Mike i used to love hearing you on the speakers at a track. H3ll i grew up listening to you when you used to announce at highland. Years ago. But can i ask what was with the dis respect towards russel eilers during his heat race. The part where you announced that the car was for sale but you made sure to let everyone know that you bet you wont get what was on the car. Now what was with that disrespect???? I can personally tell you that you could have bought the car at the track as it sat if you had the cash for it. And your lil jokes that you think is funny are honestly rude man. I think that someone needs to send you to a stand up comedy night so you can learn wat disrespect is and was a funny is.

Sorry to be blunt but saturday night was some awesome racing!!!!! But might have been the worse officiating job i have ever seen to date!!!!! Congrats to all the winners you drove your ass3s off!!!! Also congrats to robbie eilers for starting like 22nd and finishing somewhere in the top ten i wanna say 7th??? Maybe. Also congrats to andy casper!!
try your complaints elsewhere as you must be full of sour grapes from the looks of your post!!! Any more questions or complaints????

You know Gary should be excited over this as well as his pit crew and sponsors... There was nothing shady Saturday night! Just some darn good racing on everyones part and Gary just so happened to be the winner so give him that much without all the DRAMA !!!

Now maybe I can help on a few questions : ( note ) (I am not the official spokes person for the Haynes but I do have their back )

Gary an AARA Official ROLMFAO !!!!! NOT !!!! He is a board member that the AARA members voted on. Were you there to get your vote in on that meeting ? Now Sat Night did you not notice Gary had on a black and white racing suit Saturday night? Not the white with a red hat outfit ? Heck I have never seen him in that outfit but I bet it would be cute on him especially the red hat ;) Now as the driver who paid his entry fee into the race like everyone else did and was blessed enough to win ( CONGRATS GOV ) as a board member and not an official has that right to cover up his car if he does not want you to see what he has. As long as the AARA officials has the full run to look at his car then why are the rubber neckers so concerned it was on the up and up and it is what it is ! He passed tech like everyone else before the race and after or he would have been penalized as well . Gary made some hard choices this year to run part time so he could afford to run the EXTREME SERIES and go for that. And it turned out to be a good gamble for him. ( CONRATS on that as well GOV ) so if he chooses to keep his business his then so be it ! There is nothing in the rule books against that.
Yes pc36 is the tech man but an honest guy that does his job as well. And I hear they are looking for another tech guy so if you want it there is an opening for you so you can know who is an official vs a board member.. The red hat will give it away everytime :D

Now as for the motor and who built it :

You can always call 1-888 - SUGARSHACKMOTORS for motor information they'd love to hear from you :)

Hope this helped clear up some of the confusion on Sat Night...

As I said before I am not a spokes person for the Haynes just their backside ;)

So who builds the motors for 87, you would think that it would be a perfect time for the crew are somebody that knows the motor builder to say because their coming of a big win. There are a few guys looking to switch and that seemed like a bad to the bone motor. I don't know what the deal is, is it a company or a indivdual?

the engine builder is not what made the car win.if you have a car that can run the minimum weight build a small engine and use the weight break.eilers have abig engine but have to weigh more.if you want a small engine scp builds naegers and it is stout.

No, I don't think people went over to another guys car to copy his setup. Nobody was looking at the other cars in tech so I don't think they wanted to steal a setup idea from just one guy.

Glad to see you found your answers from page one of this post --- :)
