Brads dad just stopped in and gave us a report on Brad he is asking for a Mt. Dew must being coming around GREAT NEWS for the Voss family. Keep praying for no set backs.....
 
My dad is doing great he is starting to talk and starting to remember things and people. The other day he ripped out his feeding toob and he is now on a puraed (sp) diet but he drank 2 12 ounce mountain dews and 1 20 ounce mountain dew yesterday. Please keep my father in your prayers and keep hoping for the best. THANK YOU FOR PRAYING FOR HIM. HE WOULD LIKE THAT A LOT. Thank you again everyone
 
My father has been taken out of the ICU. He is doing much better he is now on a solid food diet. He just wants to get out of the hospital and come home. His memory is getting a lot better than it was at first. But he remember all the important things like family member names, his dogs names, what color, year, ande type of rolback he has. He is just now kinda understand why is was in the coma. But he is having a little problem with short term memory loss. But he is getting better and better every day so please keep praying for him he really needs it. Thank you agian (Brads son Bryant) I will keep you all posted as much as i can when i can find time to get on the computer.
 
Thats good news. Been watching this thread, glad to hear he is getting better every day. Hope he gets home soon.
 
Tonight when my mother brother and nephew left he asked my mom to see if the doctors would release him. He is just kinda tired of being in the hospital which most people do. (Wether it is serious or not nobody really likes the hopspital.) My mom is going to talk to his doctor tomorrow to see when he is going to be able to get out of the hospital and come home. We think that the only thing that is going to be wrong with him after all this is that he might have some hearing problems. And if that is all i think that we can consider my father lucky. Yesterday we braught him some towing magazines up and he was glued to them like a little kid with a new picture book. his eye sight is as good as when he went in (we all do believe) because he can read what things say he is holding a converstain better and better everyday. He says everyday how he wants to come home and be with his dog WARNER and be with his rollback. So thanks again for all the prayers and please keep it all up so we dont start moving backwards. Brad glad to hear you might be coming home soon and that you are doing so much better. I knew when I started this thread that you were a fighter and you could beat this !! Gayle hope you have been staying strong as well as your boys and family, we will be glad to see you both @ Highland when the seasons gets on the way . Keep the faith and everything will be ok. Our prayers are with you !! Has the Doctors said as of yet when he will come home and what they think he will be able to get out of bed and walk on his own or is he doing this already? Has the doctors said when they think he will be completely out of the woods sounds like he already is.
 
They havent told us yet. So we dont know as of right now. Hopefully he will get to come home very soon because he is walking around. But they said that it is going to be a couple of months before he gets to drive the rollback again and he gave them a look like BULLSH!T
 
Ya sounds like ya dad is getting back to himself lol ya doctors say 1 thing now its up to Brad to prove them wrong seems like hes healing faster then what they expected as it is so I dont think it will take quite that long less his memory has something to do with it ,but 2 mths isnt that long it will go by fast don't want him rushing back into the swings of things probaly to fast. Take ya time you will get there you had such a close call as it is. Take care our prayers are still with you.
 
The doctor has been talking like he is going to let my father come home on wedensday morning. So i hope this is all true because that wouuld make my father so happy to come home. Wednesday will be 2 weeks in the hospital. So hopefully he will be well eniugh to go to play day and the races. Well just wanted to inform everyone please keep praying.(bryant)
 
My father is doing much better evryday is a mile stone. He is getting alot of energy back (more than he had at the hospital at least). There is going to be a benefit dance here in highland at the KC hall there is going to be things auctiond off in a silent auction.
