Just because some people dislike Wente because of his business practices does not mean that he is not a good business person or a good organizer and manager. Believe me he is all of these things and more and thats why most of you don't like him because as a good business man he does not have the time to care if he has made a friend. He is worried about being a sucess at running his business. UMP would probably benefit from his experience and knowledge. cblgy 11 has always disliked Wente because he wasn't pampered enough always felt he was being screwed over. Just read his past posts and listen to him complain about how he the little guy was always being mistreated by Wente and Tri-city. Read for yourself.
 
A good business man has money in the bank before he signs the checks....
A good business man gets his tax information before the next season is over.
A good business man sees to it his business is happy!!!!

These are just a few things that kept us away from TCS over the years after racing there often. Nothing personal just business and he did not get ours because he could not take care of his :( Just or personal experiences.... Not anyone elses!!!!!
 
Venus, I'm glad you think you know me. I'm also glad that you took the time to look up all my past posts to see If I have ever bashed Wente. I do not beleive I have ever bashed Wente or called him a bad bussiness man. If so, please post it so I can remember. You guys all need to take a chill pill. I was not saying anything bad to or about anyone untill the started bashing me about the post. I even stated I was sorry twice but I see no-one cares about that. And Venus, about being pampered enough, I have raced at Tri-City about 10 times in my Micro, I do not race there weekly but all my friends do. So being pampered is out of the Questions. Get your facts strait before comeing on here and bashing someone you do not even know. I know for a fact that I have never ever said anything about you. But know I will keep you in mind. Hey Venus, Looking back on a few posts of yours. It does not look like you Thought Bob ran a good show,and you worked for him. "I guess it is time to admit that Bob Wente got us all again. The year was started out with a lot of hope for change and a chance for some guys with some good ideas and level heads to take a try at orginizing the track this year. I was one of the ones saying give things a chance." Sound familiar ?? Don't bash someone about saying anything about Wente when you bash him yourself.
 
UMP wanting Wente wouldn't be that strange. After all, he's got prolly a million Gundaker dollars and no track to run. If they don't get him first, he might just start up an outlaw organization to compete with UMP. Think about it- he has always had an eye out for the guy that didn't have the bucks to race with the top UMP teams. Now that UMP is part of this big conglomeration with Northern All Stars and Xtreme, who knows what the organization is bound for. Less of a low-budget racer, I would think. If I were him I'd be thinking of a national sanctioning body for Ironman late models, some kind of modifieds, and all of the sportsman and street stocks that won't fit into the new UMP bomber rules. He's traveled a rocky road before, and "BAM!"- he came through it when nobody gave him a chance.
 
Hey micro brain at least I gave the track 5 years of my time before I decided I had a right to say I disliked some of Bob wentes ways and practices. You just been hanging around other racers pits picking up second hand info and twisting it to your own purposes you really should stick to sniffing race car fumes it seems to be more up your alley bonehead.
 
I heard that Mike Helton was stepping down from NASCAR and Bob Wente was going to be taking his spot!
 
You still did not show anything were I said Wente was not a good business man. That's because I said no such thing. You would be suprised who I am with every week at the track helping with the cars. Glad to see working in the tower tells you how every driver feels. I said notheing about you and you just decided to bash me. Like I said, you don't know me so don't act like you do. That's all I have to say.

Never seen him in one of those before, but I can imagine how he'd look! LOL! Good to talk with you again Jim. Been a long time! Can't wait to hang out next year at Kevin's new place. That'll be TCS for those of you who didn't catch it! LOL!
