well when we done kevins car last yr i drove it once and it bit really realyl hard., if mine bites that hard it will prolly be an axle breaking sob, so if that happens we talked about putting todds extra set of gears in and building a 1585 and run either comp or off road.
 
i dont see why you would have any problems i went through six sets of axles a couple of years ago but it turned out the super diff i was running was bad after that it done fine it went all last season without any problems other that i busted the bottom out of the tranny case im telling you right now and no disrespect to the modified guys but you better have a healthy pocket book to compete in mod thats why i like stock
 
yea i know all about the big pocket book just ask kevin or todd haha. and i could whip up a small 1585 and todd, james and kevin would have to spot me 75 feet, todd says we can get a 1585 to run 4.6's, and after all that if i wasn't competitive in off road, i would just run comp. BUT thats all a long way off, so hows the grear check coming, did u guys figure out a way to check the guys who have the IRS?
 
the gear check tool is done it checks our cars right on the money but we are going to check garys and bro's car just to make sure ole rodknocker is pretty crafty the same tool will do irs and swingarm trannys we auctully have two different tools to use it should make things better for our class even though some people may disagree
 
not trying to be rude but youll just have to see it it dosent take long to check it but you will have to pull a tire and wheel off
 
its a pretty neat setup we will be able to tell what gears you have with no guess work. so is kevin about to get squared away with his mod car, is he bringing it to playday
 
not sure yet, its close, but we still got a lot of minor things left, its going to be close and we prolly wont know till sat. We need to get Kevin down tomroow night so he can go get everything else we need to finish it, i ordered todds rod bolts for his motor today so it might be the 2nd race before thier out, with him going to kc during the week it wont leave much time for buggy's.
 
yeah that kinda puts a kink in his racingi hope he has better luck this year than he did last year im kinda anxious dad and i (well mostly dad) have been working on that dragster he bought a year or so ago it will either get nitrous or turbo so that should be a fun ride if everything goes good this year maybe towards the end of the year we will bring it out
 
yea i think they will have a better year, they got a new style cam that is actually a nitrous cam, the engle cams arent desined for nos, and a lot of thier problem last yr was the cam, and using old parts, but they bought everything new this year, so things should change.
 
well thats good i know i ordered some stuff from pauter this year those guys make me feel stupid they know whats going on i told them what i was running and the pretty much laughed but oh well i told them about the buggy nats and they havent never got back with me they also told me that they have a guy that runs a similar class as we do and they have a (stock) so called buggy thats running 4.9s with stock gears and 88 mm pistons hope they dont bring it
 
it would be something to see thats for sure dad even said hed let them have his front row parking lol. i doubt we will see them there but it would be cool . well im gonna get for tonight gotta go to dads tommorow swing by if you get time see ya
